Luna's POV

Pagkatapos akong iwan ni Ryle, dumiretso ako sa department store.Naisipan kong bumili nang mga toiletries ko.As I was searching the whole floor, A midnight blue dress caught my eye.It is an of shoulder that has a velvet texture and it is fitted.Lumapit ako duon at hinawakan ito.

"Ay ma'am, sorry.Meron na po ang nakakuha niyan." Sabi ng sales lady saakin.Tinasaan ko siya ng kilay.

"Sino?" Tanong ko.

"Ako." Then Mandy walked forward from behind the sales lady.

"Bakit?Aagawin mo rin ba itong dress na ito?" Tanong niya saakin.

"No.Sayo na iyan kung gusto mo." Sabi ko sakanya.Akmang aalis na ako ng hawakan niya ang braso ko.

"Mukhang gustong gusto mo eh.Kunin mo na.Nakakaawa ka naman." She said, mocking me.I bit my lip then looked at the sales lady then back at her.

"Don't worry about me.I'm fine without this dress.Baka ikaw hindi mo kaya." Sabi ko at naghanap ng mas magandang dress sa likod niya.Then I found a black v neck dress.It's also velvet just like the midnight blue one.

"Iyon nalang ang akin." Sabi ko sa sales lady.Nilampasan ko si Mandy at lumapit sa dress na iyon.Kinuha iyon ng sales lady at binigyan saakin.I still wanted the midnight blue one, but this one will do.

"I'll get this." Sabi ko at dinala naman iyon ng sales lady sa counter.

"Why are you even buying a dress?" Tanong ni Mandy saakin.

"None of your business." Sabi ko at sinundan ang sales lady sa counter.I paid for the dress and went.Bago pa ako pigilan ulit ni Mandy.I went home afterwards, with the dress on the back seat.Now I have something to wear for Ryle's birthday.

Pagkarating ko agad akong umakyat sa kuwarto ko at sinuot ang dress.It fits perfectly and it hugged my body fit revealing my shape.I looked at myself in every angle in the mirror when the door screeched.Hindi ko siguro nasara ng maayos.My mom head poke through the door.

"What are you doing here?Hindi ba dapat nasa office ka?" Tanong ko sakanya habang tinatakpan ang suot ko.Which is useless by the way.Malaking ngiti ang nakapaskil sa mukha ng mama ko.

"I decided to take a day off.Exactly for this." Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.She smiled and walked through then closed the door.She then held my hands.

"Exactly for moments like this." Sabi niya at hinakos ang pisngi ko.

"Are you going to a party?" Tanong niya at umupo sa isang upuan katabi ng whole body sixed mirror.

"Birthday party." Sagot ko sakanya.

"I like that dress." Sabi niya.I pursed my lips together.

"I'll teach you how to do your makeup." Sabi niya at ginuyor ako papunta sa vanity table ko na minsan ko lang gamitin for makeup.My mother will always give me makeup as gifts.Sabi niya, dapat daw matuto na daw ako mag-ayos.

"I don't really want to." Sabi ko sakanya.She looked at me with that serious face of her.

"Fine.Ngayon lang." Sabi ko sakanya at umirap.Tumili siya na parang bata at kinuha ang mga makeup na kahit kailan hindi ko binuksan sa drawers ko.Habang nilalagay niya ang makeup sa mukha ko, sinasabi niya saakin kung paano ang tamang pag apply ng mga makeup.She have this makeup 101 and rules like, always find the right undertone for your skin tone, blend your eyeshadow for seamlessness, don't cake your face with too much powder.Things like that.
