Chapter 6

Luna's POV

"Thanks for letting me stay Luna.Akala ko talaga itatakwil mo ako eh!" Sabi ni Frida habang tumatawa.I just slightly smiled at her.

"Ano kita nalang tayo sa monday ha?Text text nalang." Sabi ni Frida at lumabas na ng gate namin.Pumasok na siya sa kotse nila at humarurot na ang kotse palayo.I let out a small sigh and went back in.Kailangan ko na kasing mag prepare para sa trabaho ko.

"So?Umuwi na yung friend mo?" Tanong ni Mama sakin habang umiinom ng tubig.I simply nodded at her.

"Let's have dinner shall we?"

"I'm gonna be late for my work." Sabi ko.Ang alam kasi ng mga magulang ko, sa isang burger joint ako nagtatrabaho.You think I am stupid to tell them I work in a club?They won't even allow that.I could care less about what they think pero mas okay ng wala silang alam.Para walang gulo.

"Please, Luna.You have to eat.Nangangayayat ka na." I glanced at my really thin body.She's not wrong.I looked back at my Mother and saw her smiling wholeheartedly at me.Totoo ba itong nakikita ko?Nag-eeffort siya?

"Fine but i have to leave soon." Pumunta na kami sa kusina and only two plates were placed.Kumunot ang noo ko at tumaas ang isa kong kilay.

"Saan si Papa?" Tanong ko.

"Business trip sa Hawaii." I did not answer instead I just sat there, in front of my mother.We ate in silence, at sa totoo lang, I feel awkward.So Awkward to be honest with you.

"How's your new school?Is it nice?" Tanong saakin ni Mama habang pinupunsan ang gilid ng labi niya ng cloth.

"It's alright." Sagot ko habang pinuputol gamit ang tinidor ang sausage na nasa plato ko.I suddenly lost my appetite for no reason.

"I see you brought a friend here?That's really nice Luna.I hope you invite more people over" She smiled at me and chewed her food.I was frozen.Is my mother even genuine at all?Is she finally ready to believe me?Did she come into a realization?

"I have to go." 

I wiped my lips with the cloth and went to my room to get ready.Mabilis akong naligo at nagsuot ng usual get up ko.A simple black leather jacket, grey shirt, and black pants with black boots.Not only because it's my usual get up, but also because it's our dress code.Pagkalabas ko ng kuwarto, napansin kong malamlam ang mga ilaw.Bumaba na ako at pumunta sa parking lot namin.I hopped into my motor and went to my job.

Riding a motor bike cuts the time in half, kaya naman mabilis akong nakarating duon.Pinarada ko na ang motor ko sa parking area ng club at pumasok na.As I went in, the huge beats and giant sound system blew into my ears.Some are dancing in the middle sensually, some are chatting with their friends and some are just simply getting wasted.Dumiretso na ako sa counter at pumasok duon.

"Akala ko hindi ka sisipot eh!" CeCe nudged my arms.I smirked at him.Siya ang palagi kong kasama sa shifts ko dito.Siya din ang pinaka kumportable ako kumapra sa mga iba kong nakatrabaho dito.

"Can I have one shot of tequila please?" Sabi saakin ng isang lalaki na mukhang may tama na.Kumuha ako ng isang shot glass at nilagyan iyon ng tequila at asin at lemon sa gilid.

"Actually can I have, erm,Uhm 4 shots?" I rolled my eyes.I really hate indecisive people.Kumuha ako ng tatlo pang shot glass at nilagyan iyon ng tequila pati asin at lemon.

"Chill ka lang, Lu!Mas may malala pa mamaya!" Sabi sakin ni CeCe.CeCe is short for Ceasar.Pinalo ko naman siya ng mahina sa braso niya at tumawa lang siya.A few more hours, a fight emerged somewhere in the corner of this club.I could care less about them.Ang trabaho ko magbigay ng alak hindi maging bouncer.
