~Next day~

(Y/n's P.O.V)

I got up and headed down the stairs. I sat at the table beside Hakamata and kept my gaze firm on a speck of dust on the table. "(Y/n), could you please wake up the other intern? He seems to have slept in." "Sure." "That's not the correct response to your superior." "Yes, Best Jeanist." I responded, then trudged upstairs. I knocked on the door of Bakugo's room, waited for a bit, then knocked again. I didn't hear any angry yells or mumbling, so I opened the door. I glanced around and he was nowhere to be found. I heard the unmistakable sound of a shower curtain being pulled open, then the sound of a door opening. I turned my head slowly to see Bakugo stop dead in his tracks in the doorway of his bathroom. "Uh-" I mumbled, averting my eyes and trying to look at anything else in the room besides the fresh out of the shower Bakugo. "What the fuck. WHY ARE YOU IN MY ROOM? GET OUT." "GLADLY!!" I yelled back, then stumbled out of the door, slamming it behind me. A few minutes later he emerged from his room, fully dressed (thankfully) and without looking at me, he said, red in the face "Let's never speak of this again." "Agreed." I shuddered. We walked down the stairs then sat at the table. We ate in silence, then Hakamata said "Today some of the other heroes here are going to be taking care of patrol, so I''ll be teaching you two about the more technological parts of owning an agency." "Yes, Best Jeanist." Bakugo and I responded in unison.

Hmm, they actually seem to be behaving themselves for once. I wonder what could've happened. Oh well, it doesn't matter, as long as they listen and do as they're told. We went through the day quickly, and most of what I taught them was paperwork. (Y/n) finished her paperwork and cleaned a section of the office, so I let her go for the rest of the night. I think the best way for her to learn about working is to have a close to real experience, which I guess includes breaks every once in a while. And it gives me one on one time to work on Bakugo, who is still having some trouble.

I pulled on my civilian clothes and headed out the door. "Civilian clothes... haha makes me sound like a real hero." I mused to myself. I wondered around the city for a while, then got bored. I flew up to the top of the closest and tallest building, then looked out over the sea of rooftops. I stretched my arms and legs, shifted into position, then ran to the edge, taking a leap across and landing on the next rooftop. I smiled and shook my head to get my hair out of my face, not caring about my scar. I ran across the rooftops, flinging myself from each ledge to the next, pulling the occasional barrel roll or corkscrew. (Sorry if you don't get it, I did parkour classes for a while...) After a few hours, I touched down for a break, completely out of breath. I looked around and realized that I was pretty close to Hosu City. I made my way across several more streets until I came closer. I looked off into the distance at a building with a water tower on it. "Looks like a good place to rest. Wonder if I can pop in and say hello to Iida or something." I looked closer, then saw two figures appear from a large mass on the building. I strained my eyes, being thankful for my raptor-like eyesight but frustrated that it wasn't quite clear. Then I saw three large, hulking shapes move forward, the unmistakable figures of Nomus. Based on height and stance, I could tell it was the hand guy and portal now.

I grimaced and started forward, then felt a firm hand on my shoulder stop me, then a stern voice say "Miss, you're going to have to come with me." And felt handcuffs click around my wrists. "Shit- What I do, officer?" I growled. "We got reports of a disturbance, source being a teen girl with wings trespassing on private property or causing damage while participating in dangerous activity." "Oh fuck that- so, what're you gonna do, take me in?" I said, having been through this before. "No. We recognized that you were one of the U.A. first years, and we know you kids are going through your internships right now. So, we'll deliver you back to the agency. So, who you with this week?" "Best Jeanist, and Genius Office, sir. Also, I have reason to believe that you and the other officers should be more alert." "Oh, and why is that?" "Cause while you guys are arresting a bored teenager, I'm watching Shigaraki Tomura, Nomu, and another member of the League of Villains on top of another building." "Is that so? And where would they be?" "Over there." I pointed in the direction, while stepping into the back of the cop car. "Oh, is that so? That's cute, kid. I don't see anyone even remotely suspicious, and it's certainly not getting you out of this." "Remember that later tonight." I said, and we drove back to the office.

"Um, sir?" I heard the concerned voice of one of my staff. "Yes, what is it?" I replied, looking up from my work. "Could you please come to the front door?" I sighed already expecting an incident with either (Y/n) or Bakugo. As I neared the entrance, I heard Bakugo's mocking, raucous laughter. I turned towards the door and instantly reached up and pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration. "How can I help you, officer?" I calmly asked the police officer firmly holding the shoulder of a handcuffed and sulking (Y/n). The officer explained the disturbance complaints, her little parkour adventure, and her supposed distraction attempt. "My deepest apologies, sir. I'll handle it. " I responded, watching the officer uncuff her, and she stepped inside. We watched the car drive off, then the silence was broken by Bakugo laughing, bent over, and wheezing "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GOT FUCKIN ARRESTED WHILE TRAINING TO BE A HERO- HOW GREAT IS THAT?! HAHAHA OH MY GOD-" "So, why'd you do it? Make it a good excuse." I sighed. "Agility training. Good enough?" "Let's see if it was." I responded, shooting the threads to bind her again, only for her to jump out of the way, and doing a barrel roll into the landing, then I tried once again, and she pulled a corkscrew above my head, only slightly boosted by her wings, landing behind me, and twisting my arm behind my back gently to immobilize me without injuring me. She released my arm and asked "Good enough?" "Glad to see you've been paying attention. Good enough. For now." I responded. I yawned a bit, then realized I was pretty tired from dealing with these two all day. I turned to walk way, but heard the click of the television and the news start playing. "I fucking told them... This is why they should listen. Best Jeanist, you may want to see this." (Y/n) said calmly, and I walked over to see a picture of Hosu City up in flames.
