"Are you alright? You've been quiet." Shinso commented. We were walking the halls towards the field, as Shinso was fighting Midoriya in the first battle. "Huh?" I questioned, snapping out of my trance. "Sorry. Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a bit on edge after that thing with Endeavor. Welp, looks like we're here. I'll be in the stands waiting for you!" I sped through my sentence when we neared the corridor to the field. He sighed and waved as I ran down the hall, not wanting to talk to anyone. I took my place in a relatively empty section of the stands where the students sat. I watched the match trying to appear interested so no one would bother me. I sat up in surprise when Midoriya was able to shake off Shinso's quirk like it was nothing.
I waited for Shinso, and once he got back I said "Oof. Tough luck dude. You almost had him too." "Sure." "Hey, at least you got chance to try! I don't get to, think about how lucky you are." I tried to cheer him up. "And whose fault is that, huh? Whose fault is it that you don't get a try? Stop trying to cheer me up, it's your own fault, stop acting like it was out of your control!" he burst out in frustration and anger. "Hey! At least I'm not moping around! I'm trying to help you, so shut up!" "You have nothing to mope about, you didn't even try! I bet no one's ever treated you like you might be a villian! You're Hawks younger sister, what do you have to mope about?" He yelled, slightly louder. "What does that have to do with anything? Where is this coming from?" I asked concerned. Shit. Why Shinso? Are you okay? This isn't like you... "Leave" I heard Shinso's voice calmly say. My body turned and walked away into an empty hall. I felt his quirk deactivate and I fell to my hands and knees. I let out a sigh and wandered until I found a pen and paper. "Shinso, I'm sorry if I upset you. I don't know what just happened, I just hope you're okay. I don't know why you said those things, especially now, but I'd like to know why." I read after writing. I normally don't act like this, but Shinso is my only friend I can't lose him. I detached a feather and sent it with the note.

Why did I say that? What was I thinking? I stared at the field in shock, and tried to understand why I said those things to (Y/n). I felt a small tap on my shoulder, and I turned, thinking it was someone who had seen me fighting with (Y/n). Instead, I saw a piece of paper attached to a hovering white-ish gray feather with black stripes. I took the piece of paper and the feather went soft and lazily floated down into my lap. I quickly read through it, then sighed. She didn't seem upset, so that's good. I went back to watching the matches, with the feather twirling between my fingers.

I got sick of other people, so during a particularly intense moment in a fight, I flew up to the very top of the stadium. I sat down and used my raptor eyesight to watch the matches. I eventually fell asleep because the were so boring. I was suddenly jolted awake when I heard a loud rumble and everything began to shake. I saw a giant ice spike shooting towards me, and I shot up with a loud, bird-like screech of surprise. I flew up just in time, the spike coming to a stop just below me. I looked down to see Sero stuck in the base of the ice, and a sad looking Todoroki melting it. I landed an the tip on the ice and joined the chant "Don't worry about it!" I yelled. I did mean it, but mostly for Todoroki. I looked down and we made eye contact. I sent up some feathers and spelled out 'Don't worry about it, Todoroki.' just large enough for him to see. I saw a sad half smile, then he went back to melting the ice as I gathered back my feathers. I know the chant was for Sero because he lost so badly, but I knew Todoroki needed extra encouragement, as I could see the remorse on his face from almost hurting Sero, and from something else that I didn't know yet. The ice was dealt with, and I went back to my perch back on the top.
All the matches were pretty boring. I laughed a bit when Momo got defeated. How could anyone have such poor reaction timing and be so helpless with such a powerful quirk? Especially at our age, when we've all had this power for around 12 years. I watched Midoriya and Todoroki's battle, and was honestly scared of Midoriya. Being that reckless with that much power is a recipe for disaster. For the first time, I saw actual flames from Todoroki's left side. I let out a gasp of excitement and wonder, which was soon ruined by Endeavor. I listened to his quick little moment he had, and then yelled "Shut the fuck up, Endeavor!" in a voice that sounded as different as possible from mine, and I hid from view when I did. I quickly flew to the opposite side of the stadium and watched his reaction. He clearly heard it, because he looked dumbfounded, then furious. He stormed away, and I heard a few snickers from the crowd. I looked down a Todoroki, who was still fighting, but the corners of his frown were creased with a held back laugh. I applauded furiously when Todoroki took the victory. I watched his final round in anticipation. I let out a gasp at Bakugou's finishing move, which left Todoroki unconscious. I quickly flew down to meet him at the infirmary, and pondered why he didn't use his flames.
"Hey, great job Todoroki!" I greeted him as he exited the nurse's office. "Thanks." he responded. He paused for a second, then asked "It was you who yelled at my father, right?" I felt my face got red and I looked down. "Yeah..." "Thank you. It was funny. And about time, too. He needed to hear it." I smiled and laughed. I walked with him back towards the field. I looked at him for a second, then walked away. I sat and watched the award ceremony with my fellow students, and we were all bonding over how absolutely terrifying Bakugou was. Afterwards, we all headed home. And the entire way I thought about how Shinso might respond to the note the next time I see him.
