~ a few days later~
(Y/n's P.O.V)
We all gathered our things, and set them by the bus, then gathered in a group to listen to Aizawa. "Now that you've finished up your first semester and UA High, it's time for your summer vacation to officially begin. However... Don't think theses will be months of rest for you heroes-in-the-making. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limits. You're aiming to become 'Plus Ultra!'" He said, and we all responded with "Yes, sir!" I watched Uraraka come incredible close to Midoriya's face, making him blush and look uncomfortable. "Uraraka." I whispered, then she seemed to realized what she had done. "Uh. Let's hear it for camp!" She yelled, shuffling away from his as quickly as possible. She started doing a little dance and chanting "Camp!" and Kaminari and Mina joined in. "I heard some of class 1-A is taking extra courses. Does that mean they actually failed the final exams? That must be so embarrassing. Especially since you're supposed to be so much better than my class. All of you must be wallowing in shame!" Monoma started ranting, then Kendo came up and hit him on the back of the neck, causing him to flop down. I laughed then said "Aww, I kinda liked him." "Why in the world would you like Monoma?!" Mina said. "He's a level of bitchy I strive to be. Or at least he's open about it." I said, only half joking. "You have... interesting goals there, (Y/n)." Mina said, inching away from me, making me laugh.
"Don't mind him." Kendo said, dragging him away. "Monoma's scary." said one of the girls of 1-B. "Oh. The rest of class B!" Midoriya said. "It's nice to see you outside of the sports festival. I guess now we're not rivals." Tokage said. She's one of the other students that got in through recommendations. Another girl nodded, then Kendo called out "Time to get on the bus!" "Ok!" called the girl who called Monoma scary, and the exchange student. "The girls of class A and class B. It's like a buffet of bombshells!" Mineta said, salivating onto his arm. "Dude, get yourself together. For real." Kirishima said, and Todoroki gave Mineta a withering look. I leaned forward and said. "Hey, Mineta." "Y-yeah?" Mineta's expression suddenly changed to fearful. "We're right in between two huge buses... I wonder what happens when a small, frail body gets trapped under a large machine like that. I don't know about you, but I sure wanna find out." "Scary." The rest of the class whispered, except Todoroki. "Attention, Class A, our bus is here. Everyone line up in seating order!" Iida said, moving his arms erratically. Todoroki and I sat together, and listened to Aizawa. "Here's the deal. We'll be on the bus about an hour before our first stop. Make sure you stay focused." he said, sounding tired and annoyed. "Why aren't we blasting some music?" Kaminari yelled. Aoyama stood up, then Iida stood to yell "No one should be standing! That is a safety hazard! Please stay seated!" a few seconds later Iida hollered "Do not open that window!" "Ugh." Shoto sighed, looking tired. I yawned, then remembered something. "Hey, Shoto." "Yeah?" "Did you bring earbuds?" "Yeah, but my phone doesn't have much music on it." "I have some music to block out these guys, and turns out I brought my dual earphone jack." I said, pulling it out of my bag. "I'm kinda tired though." He said. "I have good music for falling asleep. And I think falling asleep at a rock concert would be easier than sleeping on this damn bus." "Yeah, ok. Thanks." he said, plugging in his earbuds. I plugged in mine and scrolled through my music and found it. I pressed play, then rested my head in the crook of his neck, and he put his head on top of mine.
After the hour was up, we were woken up by Kyoka's earphone jack poking us. "Huh? Wha???" I said, looking around. "As cute as that is, it's time to get off the bus." Kyoka teased, making Todoroki and I blush a little. I got up and stretched, and felt my back crack, bottom to top, and gave a satisfied sigh. Todoroki grabbed his earbuds and put them in his bag, and I did the same with my phone. We walked off the bus, and I got to fully stretch out my wings, and I almost toppled over Sero. "Hey! Be careful." He yelled in surprise. "Oh, sorry Sero." I apologized then finished stretching and folded them back in. "Let me through, I gotta pee!" Mineta shrieked, running around. "Huh. This isn't much of a rest area." Kirishima observed. "No, it isn't." I agreed, and Kyoka asked "Where's class B?" I thought it was strange too, but then I remembered. "Logical deception?" I whispered warily. "You don't really think we stopped here just so you could stretch your legs, do you?" Aizawa said, as if it was completely obvious. "Please, sir, the toilet." Mineta begged, legs crossed. "Heya, Eraser!" a voice called, and the doors of the black car that joined us flew open. "Long time no see." Aizawa bowed his head, and two women in cat costumes stepped out. "You're feline fantasies are here. Say 'Meow'." said the women in pink posing as she talked. I already started to feel uncomfortable. Then the blue one started "Purrfectly cute and catlike girls!" they joined together and said "You can call us the Wild, Wild Pussycats!" Kyoka and I exchanged a look, and we acknowledged that both of us just died a little inside just from witnessing it. "These are the pro heroes you'll be working with at the summer training camp." Aizawa said, then Midoriya jumped in and started ranting "They're a four person hero team who specialize in mountain rescues! The Pussycats were founded when we were kids, like forever ago!" I looked past him and could tell he just hit a nerve with the blue one. He continued "This marks their 12th year working as a-" he was cut off by the blue one running over and grabbing his face in her weirdly large paw. "I'm pretty sure your math must be off. I'm 18 at heart." she said, trying to be intimidating. It worked on Midoriya, but not so much on me. It's hard for me to take a a full grown woman in a cat costume with age insecurity issues seriously. "Everyone say hello." Aizawa instructed, and we all said "Hello, nice to meet you!" "We own this whole stretch of land out here. Everything you can see. The summer camp you're staying at is there at the base of the mountain." The pink one said, pointing off into the distance. "Uh. Then why did we stop up here instead?" Uraraka asked. "I'm afraid we both know the answer to that." Tsu said. "No, that can't be right." Sato said. "Um. Back on the bus. Quick, let's go." Sero laughed, nervously and voice cracking a little. "Good idea. Load up." Kaminari said, placing his hand on Koda's shoulder, and Koda and Mina nodded. I gave up and excepted my fate, there's no escape. "The current time is 9:30 in the morning. If your fast about it, you might make it there by noon." the pink one continued, looking mischievous. "No way. Guys!" Kirishima said, followed by Mina squeaking "Holy crap!" "SAVE YOURSELVES!" he yelled, bolting for the bus. I sat down, already knowing they'd force us in some way. The pink one gave me a surprised look, and I just said "I accept my fate. I know you'll make us go down there." "Kitties who don't make it there by 12:30 don't get any lunch." she said. "You should have guessed, students. The training camp... has already begun." the blue lady pressed her paws in the dirt, and the earth burst forward, causing an avalanche of dirt to push us down the mountain.
