38~ It's my fault

~Next day~

(Y/n's P.O.V)

While Shinso and I were about I had my dad pick up some supplies for a bookshelf, and he helped drop off everything at my dorm so I could set up, including Karasu, which I told him to set out a plate of fruit in my room before I left. I was actually pretty excited, I had plans. I got my uniform, with the jacket on then headed to school for the first time in what feels like forever, and I met up with the rest of the class in front of the Heights Alliance, our new dorm building. I stayed towards the back, since I was the last one to arrive. "Given everything that has happened, I'm glad we were able to bring Class A back together." Aizawa started, and Sero interjected "So we all got the go ahead to move on-campus." "It took a lot of convincing for my parents." Hakagure sighed. "I was pretty concerned about mine." Jirou mentioned. "It makes sense. You got the worse of the gas attack." replied Ojiro. I didn't know Kyoka got hurt. Just another thing I could've prevented if I hadn't been so weak... "We're glad to see the teachers got to come back, too. I was afraid you wouldn't be allowed. The people at the press conference seemed pretty upset with you guys." Tsu added. I shifted uncomfortably, knowing it would've been easier on them if i hadn't let myself get captured. "Yeah." Ochaco agreed, poor timing for my thoughts. "I was surprised as well. But circumstances have changed. Now, then. I'll explain how your dorm assignments will work shortly. First, however... We haven't forgotten about the provisional hero licences you were supposed to get during the training camp." Aizawa continued. "Oh, yeah! That's what we were there for." Sato recalled, followed by Mina "So much has happened, it totally slipped my mind." I would've face palmed and thought they were idiots, except I totally forgot too. "This is important. Listen well. Kirishima. Yaoyorozu. Todoroki. Midoriya. Iida. You five are the ones who broke the rules and went to rescue Bakugo and Takami that night." Aizawa stated. Dammit, dammit, DAMMIT! This is all my fault! I should've just used my quirk better, or something! I could've resolved all of this right then if I had just... stopped being so useless. They don't deserve a punishment, they don't deserve to be in trouble. This is all because I couldn't save myself and the ones around me. What kind of hero can't even save the person right next to her? "Kero." Tsu croaked softly. "Based on your reactions, I assume the rest of you were at least aware of their plan. I'm going to set aside a number of issues and just say this. If it weren't for All Might's retirement from the hero scene, I would expel everyone here except Bakugo, Takami, Jiro, and Hagakure." I felt my heart sink and more guilt building up, and he continued "The five of you who went, of course. But also the remaining 12 who didn't stop them. You betrayed our trust. Even if it was to keep your friends from getting into trouble. In order to regain our confidence, you'll need to obey every rule to the letter, and live as model students. That's all." Aizawa finished, then mumbled "Now. Look alive. Enjoy your new home."

"Uh? We're supposed to be excited after that speech?" Sero and Kaminari wondered aloud in unison. Suddenly Bakugo grabbed Kaminari by the back of his shirt and dragged him behind a bush, struggling and confused. A thud was heard then an electric shock shot out around the bush, startling me, and I shot up into the air in surprise, like when you scare a cat and it jumps. I hovered in the air for a bit, and I heard a few laughs from my classmates. I came back down and hid my embarrassment by looking towards the bush. "YAYYAYAYAYAYAY!" Kaminari popped back onto the sidewalk, in his short circuited mode, making the funny thumbs up motions, drooling, and babbling. Kyoka started laughing, and Sero laughed "Dude. What'd Bakugo do to you?" "Kirishima." I turned and watched Bakugo try to discreetly hand Kirishima a wad of cash that he for sure just stole from Kaminari. Disturbing, but sweet. "Whoa, did you shake him down for cash?!" Kirishima yelped. "No! This is my money, you idiot. To replace what you spent." Bakugo responded. I seriously doubted that it was actually his money, and his tone of voice was interesting for talking to the guy you like, but to each their own I suppose. "Uh. How'd you know I bought night vision goggles?" Kirishima asked. "Don't say I never gave you anything. Now I'm not in your debt. Kaminari, show em' your dumb side." Bakugo huffed, then walked away. "He really is sweet, even if he doesn't want to show it." I said quietly, stepping to Kirishima's side. "Uh- yeah. He really is. N-Not that I've ever thought about it before!" He responded, getting flustered and face tinted pink. "It's alright. I won't tell anyone." I responded, smiling. I might tell Bakugo though, they'd be a cute couple. And maybe Kirishima could make him be a better person. "Tell anyone what? Whatdoyoumean? I- ok thanks..." Kirishima struggled then just accepted it. I walked back to the group and stood next to Jirou, who started laughing and pointing at Kaminari "Oh man. What a moron! You're so hopeless!" I chuckled quietly, not really wanting my emotions to get out of hand. It's so scary. It feels like if I feel anything, I might lose control. "It isn't funny, guys!" Sero protested, trying to protect his friend. "Sorry, everyone! I know this won't make up for it, but lets all go eat yakiniku tonight, on me!" Kirishima interjected, and cheers followed, and I let out a bigger laugh, letting a little happiness squeak through. 

Shorter chapter cause I don't want to make one chapter too long, and I want this to kinda be more organized, so dorm stuff would've been in this one, but it's getting pushed back. Thank you for reading this far!
