~First day of school~

I stared up at the arch in front of U.A., and slowly walked through it. Just as I walked through I saw Midoriya trip, almost in slow motion, looking like he was about to face plant. I ran towards him and detached a few feathers and started to send them his way, but I stopped when I saw a girl touch his bag and he started to levitate. They had a short conversation, then Midoriya turned and saw the feathers floating in the air a few feet away. "Hmm? Wait... I've seen those before." He murmered, then saw me just past the arch. "Hey! (Y/n), is that you?!" he smiled and yelled, running towards me. "Hey Midoriya..." I said, I vision focused on a pebble on the ground. "Why were your feathers over there?" he asked. After a second of contemplating, he realized what happened. "Oh... Um... hey, thanks for at least trying." he said. I brought the feathers back, then replied "Yeah, no problem. Good thing that girl was there to help you, I might not have even gotten to you in time anyway." "Uh.. Yeah. Well, anyway, you got into U.A. too? Well that's really cool! I guess it's not surprising since your brother is one of the coolest heroes out there." "This had nothing to do with him. Go to class and leave me alone." I barked defensively. "Oh... okay, well, um... bye!" he said and ran off to class. "Nerd. Whatever." I looked down at my schedule an headed off to class.

When I opened the door, I saw Bakugou arguing with some kid with glasses about feet on tables or some shit. I turned and saw Midoriya as well. The kid with glasses suddenly turned towards me and with weird robotic movements advanced towards me. "Hello, my name is Tenya Iida and I would lake to welcome you to class-" "Nope." I said simply, then unfolded my wings and pushed myself up to the ceiling of the class. I stayed hovering there, and I silently thanked myself for choosing fully covering leggings instead of the high rise socks. "Excuse me, that is incredibly rude, please come down here at once so we can have a proper introduction. And apologize for making me fall." Iida said. I guess the gust from the take off probably knocked him over. "I'm (Y/n) Takami, and that's all you need to know. And if you want an apology, then next time don't get up in my face." I said, by this time I had made a small cushion of feathers to sit on in the air. "I can't believe how rude you are! Just like Bakugou!" he huffed. "At least I have dignity." commented Bakugou. "And at least I'm a decent person." I commented back. "You fucking feather bastard! At least my parents actually care that I exist!" he screamed back, tiny explosions flying from his hands. "Low blow dude." said some boy with black, straight hair and weird looking elbows. "So not manly..." said a guy with red, spiky hair. "No way to speak to a chick." agreed some pikachu lookin kid. I considered flipping him off, but I just collected the feathers and stood back on the floor. "Sorry Iida. Didn't mean to be a bother." I mumbled and looked around the room. I saw that one kid from the soba bar looking unimpressed. I looked at him for a second, then trudged over to the seat next to him in the back of the class.

After a quick intro from our teacher, Eraserhead, or  Shota Aizawa, we went out side for fitness tests. Aizawa said whoever got lowest score would be expelled, but it was clearly a scam. I did pretty well across the board, and then it got to the softball throw. I watched everyone else and thought of a good way to use my quirk to get the ball to go further. I stepped into the circle, drew my arm back, then threw as hard as I possibly could, then quickly shot up, pulled my wings back, then pushed my wings with as much force as I could, sending a condensed jet of air to propel the ball forward. I heard a few grunts and yells from my classmates, and when I turned around, I saw why. The aftershock from the gust of wind had been powerful enough to jostle a few of them around, making them bump into each other and messing up their hair. "Sorry." I said in a monotone voice. Aizawa held up the distance monitor. It read 699.5. I smiled slightly, then joined the group. Aizawa projected the results, and I stood next to red and white kid and watched Midoriya freak out over his low score. It was hilarious, but in my head I had one question: Where did that power come from?
