17~ What's her problem

~At school~

(Y/n's P.O.V)

I quietly took my seat in the back and listened to everyone's stories about their internships with little concern. Suddenly I heard hysterical laughter, and I turned to look at what they were laughing at. "BAKUGO- YOUR HAIR- AHAHHAHHAHA" Sero and Kirishima laughed. I giggled to myself, and Bakugo screamed "WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT FEATHER BITCH?! IT WON'T GO BACK, EVEN AFTER A SHOWER!" After some time of screaming at people, it sprung back to it's normal spike state. "IT'S BACK HAHHAHA" Sero wheezed. Suddenly Uraraka and the other girls approached me. "So, we've heard about everyone else's internships. How was yours? Hopefully it isn't as boring as ours were. Although, Jirou got to help with a hostage incident." Hagakure asked. "Um, it went well. It was mostly patrols." I said, not really feeling like I wanted to explain the murderer thing. "She and Bakugo stopped a murderer!" Kirishima said. "Wait what?!" Ashido yelled. "Yeah, I saw it on the news. There was this guy with a machete and a gun trying to kill a family, and they stopped him with Best Jeanist." Sero added, reading off his phone. "Wow, (Y/n), that's really impressive. Kero." Tsu said. "Heheh, thanks. The little girl was really sweet. She wants to be a hero, but doesn't have a quirk. I think she can do it anyway." I explained, looking past one of the girl's shoulders and making eye contact with Midoriya and making sure he heard me. He smiled and kinda looked like he might cry. 

"WELL, UM- SHE GOT ARRESTED." Bakugo piped up, wanting some attention. "Really? That's crazy. What'd you do?" Jiro said, eyebrows raised. "I was practicing some skills and apparently someone reported me for trespassing and being a disturbance since I was jumping across the roofs." I sighed, and Bakugo added "It was hilarious! The police cuffed her and brought her to the door and everything! Best Jeanist was so mad!" "He wasn't that mad, I mean, he said my skills were pretty good." I said, feeling uncomfortable. "Well, he had every right to be mad and disappointed, you're learning to be a hero, so it's perfectly reasonable for him to expect you not to get ARRESTED during your internship." Momo said, leaning over me. I was so close to shoving her off the desk or punching her, but Todoroki walked in at that moment. He looked over, then took his seat next to me. "Yaoyorozu. I don't think she appreciates you being that close." He calmly stated, noticing my expression and clenched fists under the desk. "Fine, but she needs to understand that if she want to be a hero she can't just do whatever she wants, there are rules to this." Momo said, backing up. I felt my eyebrow twitch in anger. I slowly got up from my seat, and began to walk towards her. I stood in front of her, and everyone went silent, tension hung it the air. I raised my fist made it level with her stomach, then heard Todoroki "(Y/n), it's not worth it." 

I let out a grunt of frustration, then lowered my fist. I took in a deep breath, then let it out. "I know what I did. You don't need to remind me." I said, then walked past her, my shoulder lightly bumping hers as I walked by. I smacked Bakugo upside the head as I walked out of the classroom and towards the restrooms. I walked in and splashed my face with water a few times. "You know you could've killed her right there and them? It would've been so easy. So satisfying to shut her spoiled rich ass up forever." "No! Shut up shut up shut up!" I growled at myself. I walked back into the hallway, and bumped into Shinso. "Why does it have to go like this every time I see you?" I laughed, rubbing my head. "Heh. Maybe you should watch where you're going, if you have such good eyesight." He laughed. "So, I have to go to class." I said, then hurried away. I still wasn't clear on how he felt about me after what happened at the sports festival. I came back to class, took my seat, and listened to the instructions. We went and got our hero costumes on, then met All Might at Field Gamma. We watched the first group go through, and I winced when Midoriya fell. "Second group: Sero, Sato, Shoji, Yaoyorozu, and (Y/n). Get ready. Set, GO!" All Might announced. I shot up into the sky and searched for the quickest, but most complicated route I could take. Once I found it, I dropped, wind whistling past my face. I opened my wings,  then dissipated them, letting myself free fall right into the mess of pipes. I looked at the small drone camera following me and smirked. I jumped over each pipe, with a single feather guiding my route. I jumped from pipe to pipe, adding the occasional flip for flair. Suddenly I got to a dead end, and the quickest way out was a 2 by 2 foot wide gap several feet above me. I leaped up, rearranged my wings, and shot up out of the hole like a bullet, and immediately got knocked over from behind. "(Y/n)! Get out of my way!" Momo yelled, then I got up and continued, without a second thought of her. I decided to fly the rest of the way, now that I was higher up where the obstacles were less closely packed. I swooped in and out of the pipes, spinning and dropping. I landed on the platform silently, and All Might looked up from the screen. "Whoa, you're already here! Impressive." Just them Sero swung himself onto the platform and Sato and Shoji climbed on. "Where's Momo?" "I'm- right- here." She said, trying to pull herself up and panting between words. "Here." I offered her my hand, but she swatted it away and with a struggle finally hauled herself on to the platform. "That was super cool, (Y/n)!" Hagakure exclaimed. "Yeah! You were crazy!" Kaminari exclaimed. "Thanks guys." I looked at Todoroki and gave him a smile. He gave a faint smile back, then started his portion of the race. Once the race was all set and done, we headed back to the locker rooms. 

(Todoroki's P.O.V)

We were all getting dressed and ready to leave, and I listened to the chatter around the room. "That was some hard training." Sato said. "Our first class in a while made me sweat." Aoyama complained. "I gotta work on my mobility." Kirishima said, annoyed while removing one of his gear shaped shoulder guards. "You must compensate for it by gathering information." Tokoyami replied. "That'll put me a step behind everyone. I'm jealous of guys like you and Sero." Kaminari said. Suddenly Mineta piped up. "Hey, Midoriya! I discovered something crazy! Come here!" I turned to see what all the fuss was about and continued listening. "Look at this hole, Shawshank! It is probably thanks to the efforts of those who came before us! Next door is, you know- the girl's locker room!" he continued. "Stop this, Mineta! Peeping is definitely a criminal act!" Iida yelled. "My little Mineta is already a criminal act!" Mineta yelled, tearing away the poster on the wall. "Disgusting filth." "Yaoyorozu's ample yaoyoro-boobs! Ashido's slender waist! Hagakure's floating underwear! Uraraka's fine uraraka-body! ASUI'S UNEXPECTED BOOBIES! TAKAMI'S INCREDIBLE-!" I sent a trail of ice over and froze him up to his nose, and a split second later Jiro's earphone jack stabbed into his eye. "MY EYE! MY EYE!" Mineta shrieked, muffled by the ice. I grimaced and walked over to Mineta and unfroze him. I picked him up by the collar of his shirt and demanded "Give me one good reason I shouldn't set you on fire this very second." "AHHHHH!!" He shrieked and started flailing around in my hand. "Todoroki, there's no need for violence!" Iida said, making his weird arm movements. "Never say anything about Takami again. If you do, I'll see too it you don't get out of U.A. alive." I growled at him. I dropped him and went back to my locker to get my jacket, then went out and waited in front of the building. 

(Y/n's P.O.V)

"Thanks Kyoka." We said, finishing changing. "Wait, (Y/n), come here. You might want to hear this." Jiro said, beckoning me. "Ok, Todoroki's saying something. 'Give me a good reason I shouldn't set you on fire right now.'" she relayed, then we heard a muffled scream from Mineta. "Now it's Iida. 'Todoroki, there's no need for violence.!' Oh, Todoroki again. 'Never say anything about Takami again. If you do, I'll see to it you don't get out of U.A. alive.' OHHH dang Todoroki is pissed!" She yelped. I felt my face heat up and I tried to cover it with my hands. "Ooooo you and Todoroki? Cuute!" Ashido cooed. "It's so sweet that he's protecting you like that!" Hagakure giggled. "Oh, um. Haha yeah. He's great, really nice. Um. I'm going to leave now. Bye!" I said, getting nervous. Momo was creepily silent and I didn't want to stay around for too long. I put on my green jacket and my bag and walked out of the door.
