(Y/n's P.O.V)
"Due to heavily damaged roads, the first responders have unfortunately been delayed for the time being. Until emergency services arrive, the heroes in the area will lead the rescue efforts. Your task is to save as many people as you can and help the injured. And with that... BEGIN!" Mera finished, and I shot up and out of the room, knocking down a few kids from the gust. "Sorry!" I shouted back, and they all glared up in annoyance and began running out. Once again, most of UA stayed together. I decided to split again, since with my feathers and skill I've built up, I could do the work of three of my classmates if I wanted. I flew higher up and began slowly circling the arena. The Ketsubutsu Academy kids set up an evacuation and first aid site, so I made a mental note of where it was located. I heard shouts from below, and looked down to see what it was "Help, help! Someone, please! My husband, he's stuck!" I spotted a woman waving from below, and I dropped down, snapping my wings open and drifting down to them. "It's going to be alright ma'm. Can you walk?" I asked, putting my hand on her back and using the same eye contact strategy as Best Jeanist. "I twisted my ankle, I can't stand on it." she responded. "Ok. I'm going to have you use me as a crutch, and once you're up you're going to show me where he is, alright? We're going to do this together." I instructed, then hoisted her up and supported her with my wing. We began walking and she lead me to a precariously balanced building, just like in Kamino. "Ok, you sit here and I'll get him, ok?" I asked, helping her onto a rock. "Minus points! Leaving an injured bystander in a hazardous area?! What're you thinking?" So the HUC people are scoring us... Well then. "I was thinking that if you can't walk, you can't get to the first aid area on your own. And I can't bring you over there right now because leaving your husband for even a minute longer could lead to his death, and bringing you in there with me could kill us all. Don't worry miss, I'll have him out soon, and I'll fly you to the evacuation area." I said, switching back into the role. She looked taken aback, but said nothing as I ran towards the building. I heard a soft wheezing, and found a man passed out with a bloody rock beside his head, and he was under a concrete beam. I detached all of my feathers and softly brushed them against every surface, searching for any weak points to avoid, and then used them to pick up a chunk of broken sidewalk from outside, then put it in beside the man. I let go of the sidewalk with a few of my feathers, then slipped them under him to use as a kind of bed to float him away on as not to move his head in case of head injury. As soon as he was unwedged, the building groaned and creaked, sending tiny pebbles showering us, but I pushed the chunk of sidewalk into his place, arms burning with effort from the weight. I heard a grating noise and a thud as it fit into place, balancing everything once more. I sighed and reattached any feathers that weren't necessary for the makeshift stretcher. I sent him out ahead of me, then walked out after him. I found the lady still waiting on the rock, unscathed. "You got him out! I was so worried when the building started to shift and-" "There's no reason to think about that now. I'm going to have you hang on to my back while we fly over. My feathers will be carrying your husband." I told her, walking to the side of the rock with my back facing her. She grabbed on and I took off, floating the feather stretcher in front of me, holding the man on it so he wouldn't fall off. We landed in the first aid area, and the Telescope quirk girl showed me where to put the man, then took the wife to the less urgent care area. I carefully set him in the spot, recalled all of my feathers, then ran off to keep searching.
Next was a little girl and her mom. The girl had a cut on her eyebrow, and the mom's arm hung limp at her side. "Miss, no need to worry, assistance has arrived." I announced, landing beside her, sending a gentle gust of dust and pebbles around me, but not enough to cause any harm, thankfully. The woman nodded, and I went up to the little girl. "Hey sweetheart, everything's ok now. I'm just gonna clean up that cut ok? The we're going to take mommy to get some help for her arm." "Wha? Mommy's hurt?!" The little girl started bawling, and the woman shouted at me "Minus points! Children rely on their guardians the most in a situation like this! If they're told that that person is injured, it scares them!" "Hey, it's ok. Everyone gets hurt sometimes. She's going to be ok, and so are you, because help is here and we're gonna get you somewhere safe." I continued anyway, taking out my small kit and wiping off the fake blood and putting a bandage on her. I went to the mom, and detached a few feathers, keeping them as soft as possible and wrapped her arm into a sling of them. "Hey, you wanna ride on my shoulders on the way there?" I asked the girl, who nodded yes, so I hoisted her up and started walking, one wing open to keep the mother steady on the rough terrain. We reached the first aid area, and I sent them to the not urgent area, and waited until the mom had a fabric sling to retrieve my feathers. I ran back into the disaster site, and picked up 4 more people, all uninjured enough to just be lead back. We arrived at the evacuation site, and just as I turned to go back out, a wall exploded nearby, setting off a reaction of several explosions all over the arena.
"The villains have completed another large-scale attack." Mera announced. "Shit-" I whispered, then spotted Midoriya and Shindo, and ran over to them. "Everyone! This is part of the exam." Midoriya said, and Shindo asked "You think so?" "Yeah, but stay alert!" I reminded them, turning back to the first explosion site. The pro hero Gang Orca stood in the rubble surrounded by other people playing the roles of lackeys. "Tell me, wannabe heroes. Can you rescue people and fight at the same time?" he asked menacingly, and waves of villains started racing down towards the disaster site. "The terrorists have appeared and are beginning to sweep the area. Hero candidates at the scene should continue their rescue efforts while also suppressing the newly arrived villains." Mera announced, and Gang Orca continued. "Now. How will you react? Will you fight or protect? Help or run away? What would a hero do?" Midoriya and I braced for battle, but instead Shindo ran ahead "Get everyone to safety!" "Shindo, wait!" Midoriya protested, but I whipped around and used feathers to lift the patients and start transporting them away. Some students had already started another first aid area, so I set them there. I heard the ground erupt behind me, and I turned to see Shindo using his quirk on the ground, sending villains flying. But the excitement was short lived, and he was knocked out by Gang Orca's ultrasonic wave had knocked him out. "Shit! Midoriya! I'm going over to help, you keep going with this! You're more calming and helpful, you keep moving people." I shouted, moving a second wave of patients, making about half of the patients out of danger. I ran over to Shindo, wings fluffed out and ready for an attack, but suddenly ice shot forward at Gang Orca, and his ultrasonic waves caused it to shatter and send ice chunks flying, along with Shindo. I jumped forward and caught Shindo, jumping back again to safety, lying him on the ground with my wings spread on either side of him as a shield. Shoto had shown up, and quickly used his quirk to immobilize the lackeys, but Inasa showed up and blew all of the ice away. "Dammit." I muttered in annoyance, then picked up Shindo and ran him a bit father away, then returned to sending patients over with the help of more of my class. Once everyone was safe, well, besides Shindo and I, I turned to check on Shoto and Inasa. I saw the looks on their faces, and opened my mouth to yell, but it was too late. They weren't going to be able to work together and it showed in their first attacks, both causing the other to miss. Inasa and Shoto started shouting at each other, and I got agitated and screamed at them "What the hell are you idiots doing?! Stay focused on the attack!" and as the words left my mouth, Shoto was shot with a cement gun by one of the villains. He quickly put up an ice wall, and continued arguing. "For fucks sake..." I muttered, then separated my wings and sent a hail of hardened feathers down on the villains, knocking some over, and breaking a few of their guns. I kept this up until Inasa and Shoto finally made another move, but I knew what was about to happen as soon as they did. Inasa's wind sent the flames right toward Shindo. I froze. There wasn't time to grab him and take off, there's no time to dodge it, there isn't time to think about this.
"He'll be incinerated!" I heard Shoto shout, and I snapped out of it and just flung myself onto Shindo, folding my wings like a shield behind my back and hardening them, knowing that even hardening couldn't deflect all the flames and my wings would be burnt again and I'd be out of commission. But it's to save someone. I let out a scream of pain as the flames blasted my back, crumbling my feathers away. I gritted my teeth and continued to block the flames for the next second before they dissipated, then fell onto my side.
