(Y/n's P.O.V)
After we sat in the park for a little while, Todoroki headed home and I flew home. I kept thinking about it as I flew to school. When I arrived I lighted down on the steps and walked to class. I opened the door and took my seat. A few minutes later Todoroki arrived and took his seat at my side. "Good morning, Todoroki." I said, giving him a smile "G-good morning." I saw his face was turning pink, and I felt my face heat up slightly too. I turned back to my desk. After everyone arrived, Aizawa explained internships to us, and put up a list of students who got recommendations. I turned away already knowing I wouldn't get any, I didn't even battle. "(Y/n)." Todoroki's voice said softly. I looked up and he pointed at the board. I scanned through it and the very bottom it said "(Y/n) Takami: 2 offers" I let out a small gasp of surprise when I saw it. "What?! How'd that idiot get any offers?! SHE DIDN'T EVEN FIGHT!" I heard Bakugo yell. "Calm down. She got offers, big deal." Aizawa responded, tired. Midnight walked into out class and began to explain choosing our hero names. I'd been thinking about this for years. Ever since Hawks had left for U.A.. I took the whiteboard from Midnight, and wrote my name quickly, having thought about it for so long, it was incredible to finally see it become a reality. After Asui, I volunteered and stepped up to the front of the class. I flipped the board and stated confidently "The Swift Flight Hero: Peregrine" "Excellent, miss Takami! I'm surprised you didn't go with Falcon or something closer to your brothers, it would be so cute to have a little bit of matching!" "Keigo is trash and so is his hero name." I said as I walked back to my seat. "Oh. Um... Well then, who wants to go next?" We cycled through the different names. Midoriya's suits him well. I wasn't particularly surprised by Todoroki, he doesn't seem like one who would want a fancy label. At the end of the day we were handed a sheet of hero names, and for those of us who got offers were handed that list. My two offers were from Keigo and Best Jeanist. I knew immediately who I wanted to go to. I removed a feather and used it as a knife and cut my brother's name right out of the paper.
~Time Skip~
We all gathered at the train station, and Aizawa reminded us of the rules. We all went our separate ways, and I gave Todoroki quick hug before running off to my train. I sat in an empty car, wanting to avoid any negative attention. I put in my earbuds and played a song. I gently tapped my leg along with the beat and watched the landscape blur as we sped by.
~Time skip again~
We arrived at the station, and I stepped out. I found a small bakery on a row of shops and quickly stopped in. I ordered a small raindrop cake, payed, quickly ate it, then ran to Best Jeanist's agency.
(In case you can't tell, I really like food.)
I slid to a stop right in front of the door of the agency, quickly dusted myself off, rearranged my hair, and let out a deep breath. I was excited to meet him, let alone do an internship with him! I'd followed Best Jeanist and a few others, not quite as intensely as Deku does with All Might, but I definitely could be called a fangirl. I got my fighting style and my fingerless gloves on my costume from Gunhead, my main costume from my brother, only because it's most efficient for our quirk, and many other things from other heroes after years of watching and learning. I kinda based my hairstyle off of Best Jeanist's when I got the scar. Although, I did change it a bit. Every once in a while I'll straighten it and tease it. Make it more fluffy, better coverage of my eye. (And to be an emo bitch lol) Enough of that, I shook out my hands, then opened the door only to be met by... Bakugo. "What the fuck are you doing here, feather bitch?!" "I'd ask the same of you, blast-y bastard!" "Fuck you-" "Nah how about fuck you. Oh wait, no one ever would. HA." "Interns, language. Please." I heard a voice behind me and immediately pivoted on my heel and bowed "My deepest apologies, sir." I straightened up, and Bakugou came to stand with me. "Bakugo, could you sit in this chair here?" he motioned to a barber's stool. Bakugou sat on it, and a couple minutes later, his hair lay flat, styled like the Jeanist's. It popped back up, and he had to redo it, but it was eventually done. Bakugou stalked away to join the line of boys, then I was beckoned over. "I'm excited to see what you do, sir." "I'm glad. I generally only work on male hairstyles, so we'll see what happens." After a short amount of time full of the sound of scissors and a brief period of a razor, he said "Finished. Incredible, if I don't say so myself." He handed you a mirror, and you looked in awe.
(Color doesn't apply if you don't want it to)
"Another excellent style, Best Jeanist!" The group of boys replied in unison from the side of the room. "Yeah, it really is." I said, fluffing it up and admiring it from every angle. Then you paused a second "Sir, if I may ask, why did you put in an offer for me? It doesn't make sense, I didn't even fight once." he replied "Well, it was a request from your teacher, All Might. He noticed some things and requested that you do your internship here, if not with Hawks, as I see it as my duty to straighten out any issues in upcoming heroes." "Ah, I see. Thank you." I responded, then joined the line of interns.
