(Y/n's P.O.V)
We gathered in the front of the building at 5:30 am, in our gym uniforms. Everyone looked exhausted, yawning and messy hair. I had to admit, I was tired, but I didn't want that two slow me down. I had woken up at 5:00 and gotten ready, then listened to music and drew until breakfast. "Good morning, class. Today, we begin a training camp that will increase your strength. Our goal is to increase your skills exponentially, so each of you earns a provisional license. This will allow you to face the dangers that continue to fester in the darkness. Proceed carefully. Look alive, Bakugo." he finished, tossing the ball to Bakugo. "Try throwing that for me." "Yeah, sure. Like in the fitness test." Bakugo replied, looking at the ball. "That's right. When you first started school, your record was 705.2 meters. Let's see if you've improved." "Oh, I get it! We're checking our progress." Mina realized, and Sero followed with "A lot's happened to us in the last three months. Maybe her can throw it a mile now!" "Come on, get it Bakugo!" Kirishima encouraged, and I smiled at this. "I've got this. No one blink. GO TO HELLLL!" he screamed, blasting the ball out of his hand. "That was 709.6 meters." Aizawa said, holding up the screen. "That's it? Kinda disappointing." Sero said. "You've had a single semester at UA, and due to your various experiences, all of you have definitely improved. But those improvements have mostly been limited to mental prowess and technical skill. With a slight increase in stamina thrown in along the way. Your Quirks really haven't grown that much stronger. Not on a fundamental level. That's why we're now going to focus on improving your powers." Aizawa gave a twisted smile and continued "This'll be so hard you'll feel like you're dying. Let's hope you all survive."
I listened each person go through their training as I did mine from above. I turned my head towards the sound of class B emerging from the forest, and the pussycats did their horrid catchphrases. After a while, I heard the footsteps they separated. I was fly above a cliff, and at this point I could hardly stay aloft. For my training, I was to detach feathers one by one and have them each do an independent task, but remain mobile in the air as this happened. I was supposed to learn how to sense the environment through my feathers, which could each individually sense the vibrations in the air with enough concentration. Because of this, I was forced to wear a blindfold, and I focused on spinning each feather in the air at a different speed in a ring around me. I picked up the vibrations of footsteps coming towards me, and turned my head towards them "Who is it?" I asked. It's me, Tokage, from class B could I train with you?" "Sure. What's your quirk, and how does it help us both improve?" I asked, staying focused, making the ring start pulsating and making patterns. "My quirk is Lizard Tail Splitter. I can take small chunks off my body and throw them with extreme accuracy. You could continue your mobility and and sensing training by trying to dodge my attacks, and I could improve my speed, accuracy, and size of chunks. "Alright. I recalled my feathers and flew with greater confidence. I heard the whistle of something flying through the air, and I separated a group of feathers to block it, then another from the other side, and I had two shields on either side, and I started spinning them around myself, and dodged three chunks using the vibrations my feathers picked up. I shot out feathers in all directions, creating a loose shield all around myself, and I struggled to move my wings, but I kept myself aloft. I heard at least 10 chunks fly towards me from all different angles. I spun my shield as fast as possible, and it deflected all but one chunk, which hit me in the stomach and sent me toppling to the ground. We continued this training, and I slowly got better at flying with less feathers, shifting the angle and thrust. Tokage began to speed up and be able to throw the larger chunks with more accuracy and frequency. After several hours of training, we stopped walked back for dinner.
We arrived at the outdoor picnic area, and were greeted by Ragdoll and Pixiebob. "Now, remember what I said? We're not serving your food anymore!" Pixiebob reminded us. "Now, if you guys wanna eat, you'll have to make your own meals! Starting with curry!" Ragdoll said excitedly. "Yes, m'am." we all mumbled, exhausted and hungry. She gave a high pitched squeal of a laugh, then said "Oh, man, do you guys look exhausted. But that doesn't mean you can coast by making sloppy cat food!" I growled under my breath, hating how upbeat and sing songy she was, not to mention her teasing wasn't helping anything. "Oh! I see. An important part of saving someone recovering from a disaster is providing for their physical needs, as well as spiritual. Ah! This is a great opportunity! Let's make the most delicious curry in the world, everyone!" Iida said, encouraging everyone to be more energetic. "Yeah, ok." We responded, slowly starting to function again. I set up my own station and grabbed my own ingredients, confident in my cooking abilities. "Shoto, could you light this please?" I asked softly, too tired to be angry or defensive. "Of course." he said, then bent down beside me and used his fire. "Thank you." I said, finishing with chopping the vegetables, and swept them into the pot. I watch it cook, my mind wandering until there was no where to go. I looked at Shoto's soft smile as he helped the other students, and I felt a small warmth in my heart, and I smiled too. I called Midoriya over, and when he came, I handed him bowl of curry. "Could you give this to Kota? He went that way." I said, pointing after the small boy. I sent feathers to serve bowls to students who hadn't eaten yet, then picked up the last two bowls and sat down with Shoto, handing one to him. "Thanks." He said, then started to eat it. I quickly ate mine, but not as frantically as everyone else. Once I ws done, I set my dish in the pile then left without a word to anyone. I flew around and saw Kota, sitting on a ledge. I lighted down behind him and saw the empty dish and smiled.
"Go away. That stupid Midoriya kid already talked to me and gave me that stupid food." "I'm sorry it was stupid, I'll make it better next time." I said. "Huh? What do you want, I told you to go away!" "Kota, I think we think a lot of the same things." I said. "What?" he asked, confused. "I'm gonna guess you think that all heroes do is show off. And that there's no point to it because both sides just kill each other anyways." "How'd you know?" He asked, suspicious. "Did Midoriya tell you?" "No. I know, because that's what I think. My brother and I used to be best friends. But when he got into this school, he changed. He came one of those flashy, rich, fame and power hungry men we mistakenly give the name of a hero. We don't speak much anymore, and when we do, it's just to yell at each other or be angry." I explained. " Then why are you doing it too?" "Because... I have a mission, a goal. Not matter what, I will always care, genuinely care, about those I'm saving, those who support me, and others. A true hero cares about those around themselves, and that's what I'm going to be." I explained. "Humph. Well. I think you should go." Kota said. I got him to open up a little, so I'll count it as a victory. I picked up the dish, then flew back down and set in the pile, then headed back inside and fell asleep.
