Epilogue

Ashton POV

"You're getting a tattoo?" Calum and Luke look at me with surprise. "Yeah Kate and I, do you guys want to go with?" I ask. "I'm terrified of needles so I'll pass," Luke says shuddering at the idea.  "What are you getting?" Calum asks curiously. "A sun on my wrist."

"How big? Luke asks. 

"Really tiny." I glance over at my boyfriend who's sitting in my desk chair spinning around slowly.  "That would look cool." I want to show him the letter but part of me wants to keep it a secret. "Would you consider us getting matching tattoos someday? I always thought it would be cool too." He shrugs. "Once your eighteen so your mom won't get too mad," I say. Calum nods. 

"Makes sense."

"Can we go do something? I'm so bored." Luke whines dropping down on to my bed. "Well, what do you want to do?" He says nothing as he looks around my room.  The silence is uncomfortable as I clear my throat, "We could um go to the tattoo shop to make an appointment. "

"Let's not," Luke says glancing over at me.

"Amusement park?" Calum suggests. 

"No, I hated that," I complain pressing my back against the leg of my desk. "I wish Michael was here." Luke pouts. "Yeah but he's on a new adventure," I reply. 

"That he hates," Luke grumbles. "Cheer up, we can go to the movies that always cheers you up." He shakes his head tucking his head in his arms.  I feel a pang of sadness when I get an idea. "Cal, can you hand me my computer?" 

"Oh sure." I do a quick google search and instantly buy concert tickets for tonight. 

"You guys want to go get dinner?" Luke nods looking upset. "You think Michael will move back?" He asks quietly. 

"Maybe." I glance over at Calum who shrugs. "But it's not likely huh? We've been friends since we were kids and then he just moves? to the other side of the world? I miss him so much, Ashton." He says putting his face in his hands. "But you have Cal and I."

"Yeah but then I'm going off to college and so are you, I'm going to be all alone." He looks up at me his blue eyes sad. "Let's hold off thinking about the future okay? Things will be fine now let's just get some dinner and go to the show tonight."

"Show?" Luke raises an eyebrow. 

"Panic! at the Disco is in town and the three of us are going," I say.

"How did you get the money to buy tickets?" Calum looks at me wide-eyed. "I had been saving up and you always said you wanted to go..." He nods. "Luke you in?" He looks at me skeptically then sighs. "Sure, let's do this." 

Standing in the pit with my arm wrapped around my boyfriend and my best friend singing along I feel like things might not suck so much.  Calum turns to me and says something but I can't figure out what until his lips are on mine.  I close my eyes not daring to move as I take in this moment. The feeling only lasts for a few minutes when I feel someone nudge me. I look over at Luke who's beaming his finger pointing at someone, that someone is   Brendon Urie who just watched me make out with my boyfriend during his show. I feel my cheeks heating up as I glance over at Calum who looks just as embarrassed. Brendon winks at us before going to the other side of the stage. 

"Ashton that was AMAZING!" Luke screams as we walk out into the cool night air. 

"I know."

"I filmed Brendon watching you two kiss." He says smiling. "Of course you did," I say rolling my eyes. "I'm going to send it to Michael." Luke continues. "It's not like he hasn't seen us kiss before," Calum replies his hand in mine. "True." We walk to the parking lot.
