Yeonjun found Soobin waiting for him at the end of the hallway. Before Yeonjun could even say anything, Soobin enveloped him into a tight hug.
"Fuck off man," Yeonjun wrenched his way out of the other's hug and stood off to the side, arms folded and breathing quite heavily. Soobin gulped in slight fear, hating the fact that no matter what excuse he's going to give, he was the one to blame in this whole situation. Yeonjun was upset because of him.
'Sorry, Yeonjun-ah. I'm an asshole." Soobin apologised as he snuggled his face into the shorter's neck from behind, wrapping his hands around Yeonjun's small waist. The shorter tried to shrug it off but Soobin held him in place this time. "Sorry..."
Yeonjun sighed. He was really weak for Soobin, wasn't he? Hearing the softness and sincereness of Soobin's voice calmed his nerves a little. "Fine. But you better think about something to make up for this shit."
"Of course, I think I might need to get you a new bag," Soobin spoke into Yeonjun's ears as he slid the latter's bag from his shoulders. "The strap kind of tore when... I took it from you."
"Took?" Yeonjun scoffed, half joking as he took over his bag to inspect the 'wound' on his bag. He whirled around and lightly whacked Soobin's head which illited a laugh from the other.
"I'll buy you a new one today," Soobin quickly said, stifling his laugh when he say Yeonjun's familiar pouting face.
"Fine, we'll go to the mall after school," Yeonjun said as he hugged his bag and walked to their separate classes.
"Alright, I'll see you then," Soobin smiled and waved goodbye as they arrived in front of his class. Yeonjun looked on at his best friend's back as Soobin got settled in before turning and walking to his class on the other block.
The rest of the day passed in a blur and soon, both boys were outside their school, trying to hail a cab to no avail as an empty street greeted them. Well, not exactly empty, private cars and buses ran along, but no ride which will get them to the mall fast.
"Chillax, let's just book one," Yeonjun and told Soobin he'll pay for the fee. Soobin nodded and then huffed. Yeonjun, on seeing his best friend's scrunched up face, laughed.
'Let's go to the arcade after we buy my bag!" Yeonjun squealed when he thought of that particular toy he saw while walking past the arcade a week ago.
Soobin wasn't much of an arcade person since it makes him spend much more than he needed (he does like saving even though his family is well off) but seeing how the tension in Yeonjun seemed to dissapitate with the thought of them playing around made him happy as well, he relented.
