Part #5. Quest Accepted

(Kyu: I'm working extra hard to make up for being inactive for like 2 months. Anyway, hope everyone is having a great day!)

[Kyu's POV]

As I walked to class, I saw Shitori-sama walking through the halls, I jogged toward her and tapped her on the shoulder, she turned around and looked at me.

"H-Hi Shitori-sama, I just wanted to thank you again for helping me a few days ago. I have no doubt in my mind that I would've been lost and gotten in trouble if it weren't for you." I told her

Sona: "Oh, it's no problem Ichiki-san, it's my job to help first years." She said.

"Yeah b-but still, t-thank you." I bowed to her. "Oh yeah, I have to get to class, thanks again Shitori-sama!" I said as I ran down the hallways to get to my class.

As I walked into the classroom I saw the people having conversations while waiting for the teacher to arrive, I walked over to my seat and sat down, but soon someone approached me. It was another girl, this girl had large brown eyes and blonde hair with a green streak, her hair was styled into a pony tail. She grabbed my arm and pulled me out of my seat, due to the force she used I fell onto the ground. The people having conversations suddenly stopped talking, they looked and saw me being bullied, but they just went back to talking, as if nothing was happening.

I tried getting up only for me to get grabbed and dragged towards the windows, the girl started to run at the windows and just as I started to realize what she was going to do, I was launched out of the window... And my class is on the third floor... So I was falling, but luckily when I fell I was able to grab a window sill with my right hand, and I got swung through an open window, I was on the floor in another classroom, but I couldn't observe my surroundings very much as I was hit by a sudden wave of pain coming from my right arm, I looked at my shoulder and saw that it was in a sort of odd position, but that's when I realized, my arm had been dislocated.

I screamed in pain as I held my arm, tears were streaming down my face as people got up and ran over to me to see what was wrong. Soon a brown haired boy with his hair in a short ponytail grabbed me and started bringing me out of the class, the pain had faded slightly and I was able to calm down, I asked where we were going and the brunette replied "I'm taking you to the Infirmary? Where else would I take you?" I chuckled a bit at this but I soon blacked out.

I woke up and found myself in a bed, I sat up, but I sat up too quickly and I was in pain again. I looked down and saw my arm was relocated and was in a sling, I thought to check something I had been neglecting... I saw in the top left corner of my screen, my HP had gone down from 90, to 55. My arm being dislocated took away 35 HP, that wasn't good.

I swung my legs off of the bed and slowly got up, I thought about the girl, counting the purple haired girl that was two people who have attacked me... What did they want with me?

I looked around the Infirmary, I walked over to the entrance when I realized that my blazer was gone, I turned around and saw my blazer on the back of a chair, I grabbed it and threw it over my shoulders since I had no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't be able to put it on without help. So it just hung off of my shoulders, kinda like a cape, I walked out of the Infirmary and pulled my phone out of my jacket, I looked at the time and saw that lunch had started nearly five minutes ago, so I started walking to the cafeteria.

When I entered the cafeteria I looked around and saw Tristen sitting at a table near the corner. I walked over to him and said "Hi." He looked at me and greeted me before he noticed my arm in a sling, he quickly got up and walked over to me, making sure I was alright.

I just smiled and said I was fine, I saw a look of doubt on both of their faces but they accepted it. They then asked me what happened and I just replied "Nothing, just an accident." They looked even more doubtful, that's when Alex asked a question in a quiet tone.

Tristen: "Was it that girl who kicked you?" He asked, small traces of venom laced his voice.

"N-No, I told you. It was just an accident."

Tristen: "Are you sure, Kyu?" He stared at me.

"Y-Yes." I told him.

He stared at me for a few seconds before sitting back down, I sat down next to Alex and we all continued our conversation from earlier. After talking for a few moments Tristen noticed that I wasn't eating.

Tristen: "Kyu, why aren't you eating?" He asked me out of curiosity.

"Hm? Oh, I'm just not hungry. I told him.

Tristen sighed and pointed his fork at me.

Tristen: "This is why you're anorexic!" He told me.

I laughed and responded to him.

"I'm not anorexic, I'm just skinny." I said.

Tristen: "That's crazy." He said in a sarcastic voice.

A few minutes later lunch had ended, and I was on my way back to my class when I started thinking about why I was attacked again... It bothered me, I don't believe I had done anything to those girls so why were they attacking me? It was while I was thinking when I was interrupted...

What? Tristen will get kidnapped?! Well of course I pressed "Yes" I had to do something!

I guess it's time for me to get my tweed detective's hat and my corn cob pipe.
