Highschool DxD: The Game (Early Work)

Part #31. Kyu Gets Very Confused

(Third Person POV)

Kyu stepped out of his shower and got dressed in some casual clothes. Once he was dressed he took a quick look at himself in the mirror and noticed that the burn marks on his skin had faded away. Kyu was wearing a black hoodie that was halfway closed over a bright yellow t-shirt, he was wearing some of his regular dark blue jeans, but he also accessorized a little bit. Kyu had a white bracelet on his left wrist with a red maple leaf clasp on it, while his right wrist and forearm was wrapped in bandages to hide a hole in his arm, and his right wrist had a black bracelet that had the shape of a wrench head on one end around the bandages.

Kyu had wrapped bandages around his right forearm because he had stabbed himself with his new Forever-Sharpened Pencil, he had done this to see if it actually stayed sharpened against his tough body. The pencil had been shoved straight through his arm and stayed sharpened, so it was good that it worked.

Kyu walked out of the bathroom and jumped down the staircase and landed on the last step with expert precision. He walked off of the last step and into the kitchen, where he had prepared some sandwiches earlier, Koneko had gotten to most of them already, but there was still quite a sizable pile. He put the plate full of sandwiches into his Inventory and walked to the front door, where he put on a pair of grey and white sneakers.

Kyu: "Koneko! I'm heading out!" He yelled to the girl who was in his room, reading the manga that Kyu had put on his desk.

Koneko: "Come back soon!" She yelled back.

Kyu opened the door and walked outside, he closed and locked the door behind him before he put the key in his Inventory and began walking to the destination Akeno had told him to go to.

Kyu pushed off of the ground and tilted his body forwards, he pushed off against the air while two shock waves formed behind him, he had just used two Geppos at once.
He flew through the air and approached a skyscraper, he entered an Instant Dungeon and crashed through the building and then exited the ID to prevent any damage to the building.

[Geppo limit has increased by 1!]

Kyu dismissed the screen and noticed he was approaching a shrine located on a grassy hill surrounded by trees. He did a front-flip and pushed off of the air while he was in mid-rotation. He shot downwards before he entered another empty ID and landed on the ground in front of the shrine with his knees bent, a crater formed below him when he landed, but he left the ID and the damage had vanished.

Kyu looked to his right and saw Issei walking towards the shrine entrance.

Kyu: "Hey." He greeted the brunette.

Issei: "'Sup?" He asked.

Kyu: "The sky." He responded.

Issei: "I'm surprised you weren't here earlier." He stated.

Kyu: "I stabbed myself with a pencil and had to clean myself up." He responded while holding up his bandaged forearm.

Issei: "...Okay, I'm gonna pretend that you didn't say that so casually." He stated.

Kyu shrugged before he began climbing up the long staircase towards the shrine. Issei began following after him.

Akeno: "Welcome, Kyu, Issei." She said to them from the middle of the staircase, where there was a stone platform that led to more stairs.

Issei: "A-Akeno!" He called to her.

Akeno was wearing her shrine priestess outfit,  Kyu stared at Issei, who was wearing his school uniform.
