Part #22. Another Stray.

(Third Person POV)

Kyu: "--udge." he finished saying.

Kyu stared at the sleeping Koneko before trying to think of a plan to get out of his bed without waking her. This was probably the most difficult thing he's probably done yet. He squirmed upwards a little bit before vanishing and appearing in the air, he landed on the floor softly and let out a sigh of relief once seeing Koneko's sleeping face. Only for her to slowly open her eyes. Kyu cursed the world in that moment before giving up trying to be quiet.

Kyu: "G-G-Good m-morning." The boy said nervously.

Koneko: "Morning." The girl said before getting out of the bed.

Kyu: "U-Umm... W-Why are you here? N-Not to be rude or anything." The boy asked.

Koneko: "The President, told me too." She explained.

Kyu: "...O-Okay... But why though?" He asked.

(A Flashback to Yesterday)

Koneko and Rias were both in the club room. No one had shown up just yet, and Rias disliked the silence.

Rias: "So, Koneko. How are things going with Kyu?" She asked the white haired girl.

Koneko: "What do you mean?" She asked Rias.

Rias: "Have you... Spent a lot of time together?" She asked the girl.

Koneko: "Yeah... We meet up everyday right here, did you not know that, President?" She asked Rias.

Rias: "That's not what I meant... Okay, I'll give you some advice. If you want to spend some more time with him, you should move in without his consent!" She told the girl.

(Quick pause from the flashback)

Kyu: "Did she really say that?" He asked Koneko.

Koneko: "No, but that's the vibe I got from what she said." She answered.

(Resuming Flashback)

Koneko: "That doesn't sound wise, President." She pointed out.

Rias: "Just do it!" Rias told Koneko who shrugged in response.

(Present Time)

Kyu: "So you were basically ordered by Rias-senpai... To move in with me, without telling me?" Kyu asked, making sure he got the facts right.

Koneko: "Mhm." She replied.

Kyu: "Okay then..." He said.

Kyu: "But why were you in my bed?" He asked.

Koneko: "She also told me to do that." She answered.

Kyu: "...I'm beginning to think Rias-senpai has problems." He said.

Koneko: "Yep." She answered.

Kyu: "Do my parents know?" He asked yet another question.

Koneko: "Yeah, they were really weird about it. Saying stuff like 'Maybe she can fix him'. And stuff like that." She said.

Kyu sighed and held his forehead.

Kyu: "I keep telling them that my repressed memories should probably stay repressed." He sighed.

Kyu: "Well... You're welcome to stay. As long as you don't draw on my face while I'm asleep, we should be fine." He said. Koneko nodded while discreetly hiding a marker in her sleeve. She had failed in her mission this time... This time...
