Part #28. A Day of Rest.

(Third Person POV)

In the old schoolhouse, Kyu and Koneko were sitting on their usual couch, Akeno had decided to sit with them as well. Koneko was also eating some ice cream. Xenovia was on the opposing couch and drinking some tea that Akeno had made earlier, Yuuto was standing beside the couch while he and Akeno drank some tea.

Issei had just informed Rias that Azazel had revealed who he was to him. Kyu was only half tuned in to the conversation, mostly because he was thinking hard about the text that was on the screen in front of him.

He had gotten this right after the battle with Kokabiel, and he had no idea what it meant. He knew that several people in One Piece had the same initial, but it hadn't been revealed what it truly meant. Kyu tuned back into the conversation after closing the screen.

Koneko: "President, is it true that there will be a meeting of leaders in this town?" She asked.

Rias: "Yes, I received information about it earlier, too." She confirmed.

Rias: "All the leaders are meeting to discuss what will happen in the future." She stated.

Xenovia: "So this means the fight with Kokabiel affected the relationship between devils, angels, and fallen angels?" She asked.

Rias: "If the heads of the devils and fallen angels suddenly meet in this town, the situation will become even more complicated." She stated.

Rias: "I wonder what is going on?" She said.

Issei: "What?" He asked.

Rias: "I'm talking about Azazel." She clarified.

Issei: "Is he after my Boosted Gear after all?" He asked.

Rias: "It's all right, Issei." She told him before stepping towards him and pulling his head to her chest.

Rias: "I will definitely protect you." She told him soothingly.

Kyu: "Um... Rias-senpai, that's kind of what he's supposed to do for you." He pointed out.

Kyu: "Speaking of which... Issei-senpai, we're gonna have a training session this weekend." He told the brunette.

Issei: "What?! Why?!" He asked loudly.

Kyu: "Because honestly, you were kinda useless in the fight against Kokabiel." He said truthfully.

Issei: "What? But... I powered you up though." He defended, although he knew that the boy was telling the truth.

Kyu: "And what happened? I died." He said.

Yuuto: "Um... Kyu, you didn't die." He pointed out.

Kyu: "Well... I actually died for about twenty minutes, minimum, and around two hours maximum." He explained.

Asia: "Oh my gosh... but, you look fine now." She stated.

Kyu: "Yeah, about that..." He stopped himself from saying anymore, because what had happened was quite graphic.

Koneko: "Kyu, what happened?" She asked.

Kyu: "Umm..." He hummed uncomfortably.

Akeno: "Kyu." She said. The boy sighed.

Kyu: "Fine, so. I had lost around half of my body and most of my organs." He began telling his story, only for everyone to shout in shock.

Kyu: "Can I continue my story? Thank you." He said.
