Highschool DxD: The Game (Early Work)

Two days had passed since Kyu and Issei had not returned, and the Underworld was in disarray. The thirteen monsters that Shalba had conjured up were causing a huge mess in the various capitals around the Underworld. Each monster was around one hundred and fifty meters in height, with the largest being about two hundred meters tall. The smaller ones looked as if they were a mash-up of different creatures. Another bad thing about these monsters, is that they can create smaller creatures by the monster's flesh swelling, and then the smaller monsters ripping out of the flesh. The small monster's are only about the size of a normal humanoid, but they are vast in numbers.

The largest monster has been dubbed "Jabberwocky" and the other twelve monsters are called "Bandersnatch". Azazel had named them.

One of the more scary things about these monsters, is that even Ultimate-class Devils cannot give them critical injuries. They can only damage the skin and then they were forced to deal with the minions, giving the monster time to heal itself.

While the Bandersnatch healing capabilities are impressive, the Jabberwocky's is just downright shenanigans.

The deaths of Issei and Kyu haven't been reported, so only those who were there know the full story, and they weren't doing so well. Rias had locked herself up in her room. Koneko was comforting Ravel while she herself struggled to remain calm. Akeno immediately got comfort from her father. Asia hasn't stopped crying. Yuuto was just barely holding on.

Xenovia, Irina, Rossweisse, and Gasper haven't been told yet.

Vali had been mostly cured of Samael's Curse by Mori Jin. The Monkey King was a little bit saddened at his disciple's death, but after several centuries of living, he had become a bit numb to death by now.

Now. We rejoin the remaining members of the Gremory Team as they look for a bit of hope concerning Issei...

Rias: "There is something I would like Ajuka-sama to look at." She stated.

Rias and her Peerage were on the roof of a hotel in the human world. Mori Jin had given a little bit of advice to Yuuto about the functionality of the soul and body. Basically, if one were to be afflicted by Samael's Curse, the body would be the first to go, and then the soul. However... Issei's Evil Pieces, which are connected to his soul, are completely untainted by the curse. The Gremory Group decided that the best person to go to for this stuff, is Ajuka, because he invented the Evil Pieces system.

Ajuka held his hand up to stop Rias.

Ajuka: "Hou, something you want me to see? --But looks like that will have to happen afterwards." He stated.

Ajuka: "Looks like we have guests besides you." He said.

Ajuka looked at the end of the garden on the rooftop. Several people formed from the darkness... they were Devils.

Devil: "Never thought you would be in a place like this in the human world, the imposter Maou, Ajuka." He said.

Ajuka: "I think it's the charm of the old-maou faction that it's easy to tell who you are just by hearing you talk." He said.

???: "I'm also here." A familiar voice said.

Another person who had appeared, was the white-haired man, Siegfried from the Khaos Brigade. He glanced at the group before looking at Ajuka.

Akeno: "...The ones who killed him..." She said. It was quite clear that she loathed the Hero Faction now.

Siegfried: "First time meeting you Ajuka Beelzebub. I'm Siegfried from the Hero-faction. And these gentlemen here are the staff from the previous Maou faction who are cooperating with the Hero-faction." He said.
