Part #53. Stacking Skills Beyond Reason. (Part #2)

Today was not Kyu's best day. Sure, knowing about the promotion test was great and all, but if he had simply gone with the rest of the group, Xenovia wouldn't have gotten hurt.

The boy poured his mana into the green flame hovering around the slowly shrinking hole in Xenovia's gut while making sure to look around the area for any surprise attacks. Vali and Azazel were trying to attack Cao Cao, each in their respective armor, but the young man dodged each of their attacks. Eventually, Cao Cao used his repaired eye to cast an odd spell that begun to encase Vali and Azazel's legs in stone.

Cao Cao stabbed Azazel through the torso and pulled his spear out, bringing a trail of blood with it. Azazel's golden armor crumbled and the fallen angel fell to the ground. Vali gritted his teeth and released a huge beam of demonic power that flew to Cao Cao at blinding speeds.
Unfortunately, another orb zoomed to the attack and intercepted it.

Cao Cao: "Mani Ratana. It can release the attack directed at me to someone else. Vali. Your demonic-power is enormous. If I get hit, I will die. Guarding against it is also hard. --But there is a way to ward it off!" He stated. The orb suddenly emitted a whirlwind and like a whirlpool, Vali's attack sunk into the center of it before becoming completely absorbed. Another whirlwind appeared in front of Koneko.

Kyu: "Oh, no." He said.

Issei shed some of his armor and began rushing towards Koneko, but Cao Cao held out his spear and let Issei impale himself.

Kuroka: "Idiot! Why aren't you moving Shirone!" She shouted.

Kuroka, with one mighty step, blasted off of the floor and flew towards Koneko before digging her feet into the ground and sliding until she stopped in front of Koneko and spread her arms out to shield her little sister from the attack.

The attack was so close to touching Kuroka, but it suddenly stopped.

A familiar man-child stood between Kuroka and the large demonic blast with his foot extended. He was holding the attack back with only his foot.

Kyu grit his teeth as his shoe disintegrated and his foot began smoking. His raised foot glowed a vibrant orange before becoming completely coated in Busoshoku Haki.

The lower half of his pant leg burnt off and the Haki suddenly stretched to cover his lower leg. Kyu inhaled deeply before a fire lit inside of his eyes as well as a red glint. His foot suddenly ignited in a wild blaze and a dark teal and red Imoogi formed around his leg.

Kyu: "You... continue..." He paused.

Kyu: "To anger me... You annoying prick!" He growled before his irises turned a fierce blue and his golden crossed pupils turned black. An ornate circlet formed in the air around the boy's head as well as a fur bracer held by several red beads.

In the background, Mori faintly cheered at the boy's transformation.

The Imoogi suddenly grew tenfold and sprouted wings and a dragon's snout. The dragon turned a dark blue and the red tint turned blood orange. The dragon spread its large mouth and flew towards the attack before swallowing it whole. With one last push, Kyu slammed his foot into the attack before pivoting on his left foot and delivering a back kick with his flaming leg, until finally jumping into the air and delivering an earth-splitting axe kick to the attack, sending it into the floor and created a massive tunnel straight down.

Kyu: "Three Stage Hoechook..." He muttered under his breath.

Mori: "Woooooh! That was awesome!" He cheered.

Kyu planted his severely burnt foot on the ground and winced before the pain slowly faded.

Kyu: "Thanks!" He grinned.
