Highschool DxD: The Game (Early Work)

Part #18. The Phenex Appears

(Third Person POV)

The green eyed protagonist slowly opened his eyes, the sun shined into his room through the ineffective blinds, he groaned before sitting up.

[You have slept in a comfortable bed! All ailments and wounds have been cured!]

Kyu dismissed the screen as he did every morning. He got out of bed and grabbed some new clothes, he couldn't wear his uniform because it had been ruined from the fight with the dragon, so that was unfortunate.

Kyu picked out some dark blue jeans that were a little bit stretchy, a yellow hoodie with black lines going up the arms and onto the rim of the hood and a pair of green and white sneakers. He set those aside and began his usual routine.

He stepped out of the door and closed it behind him. Kyu yawned for a moment before jumping onto the rooftop of the building right in front of his.
He began running across the rooftop, and when he reached a gap he jumped over it.

He hopped from roof to roof, he was heading straight for the school.
He was even able to jump over the roads that he usually couldn't avoid.

Kyu saw the school in sight, he sped up and once he reached the final rooftop, he did a front flip off of it and landed on the ground with his knees bent.

[Acrobatics/Parkour has leveled up!]

He swiped away the screen and walked onto the school's property.

(A little bit later)

After visiting the administration offices, and attending his classes. Kyu walked into the ORC and was greeted with the sight of a beat up Issei being healed by Asia.

Kyu: "What did he do this time?" He asked.

Koneko: "What he usually does." She said.

Kyu: "Exist?" He asked, only to get a nod from Koneko.

Kyu: "Ah yes, the usual." He said before sitting down next to Koneko who had stolen his spot.

He reached over and grabbed a cup of tea that Akeno had just served.

Kyu: "Thanks, Akeno-senpai." He said, Akeno just nodded with a smile on her face in response.

Asia: "Issei, if you want to see nudity so badly, th-then I could..." She said as she began lifting her skirt, Kyu wasn't really looking towards them so he didn't notice that second part, but he did hear the first part.

Kyu almost drowned in his tea when Asia said that, he managed to calm himself down enough to swallow the tea, but he still coughed afterwards.

Kyu: "H-How did this conversation e-escalate so quickly?" He asked.

Rias: "Yeah, Issei, just ask me and I'll show you anytime." She said. Kyu was sipping his tea when she said that, and he almost drowned again.

Kyu: "I gotta find a new club..." He told himself after surviving the second drowning.

Rias: "You've already seen me, many times. Right?" She asked rhetorically.

Kyu: "I'm pretty sure that there are policies against inter-office relationships." He pointed out.

Rias: "Not here!" She said.

Kyu: "Of course there isn't..." He sighed.

Kyu began to tune out of the conversation because he really didn't want to hear anymore. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath to calm himself after hearing these shenanigans.
