Part #25. The Battle for Kuoh (Part #1)

(Third Person POV)

The morning sun shined upon Kuoh Academy. Issei was in his class, waiting for the next one. He rested his head on his desk and looked out of the window beside him. He faintly heard tapping from somewhere and glanced around before the tapping became louder. Suddenly, the bottom of a shoe was planted on the window before another one followed it. Issei's eyes widened and he shot up before opening the window and looking down in the direction where the shoes were heading. He stuck his head out of the window and saw someone running down the outside of the building. Issei instantly recognized him from the messy dark blonde hair on his head.

Our protagonist, Kyu. Ran down the wall before jumping off and pushing off of thin air, he shot upwards and narrowly dodged Issei's head before he flew into the sky. The boy zoomed through the clouds before said clouds parted suddenly, except they didn't part. A large hole suddenly appeared. Several more holes in the forms of lines were being created. Kyu was kicking the clouds apart. The boy began falling down and through the cloud barrier, he performed a front-flip before landing on the roof.

Kyu: "How's that?" He asked Koneko, who was standing in front of him while looking up.

Koneko: "Impressive." She stated.

Kyu looked up and observed his handiwork, a large cloud roamed the sky while large gaps in it provided a name. "Koneko".

Koneko: "I didn't think you could sign the world for me." She admitted.

Kyu: "Ye have little faith." He said with a smile.

Koneko: "That's not my hand writing though." She pointed out.

Kyu: "...I kicked your name into the clouds, just be happy with that, please." He said.

[NEW SKILL ALERT: "Rankyaku"] {ACTIVE}
{One of the six abilities of Rokushiki. The Rankyaku is a powerful projectile technique, in which the users start by kicking at very high speeds and strength, sending out a sharp compressed air blade that can slice objects and greatly damage a human body.}

Kyu dismissed the screen and stared at Koneko with a frown.

Koneko: "I'm joking." She said with a small smile on her face.

Kyu: "I know." He said with a large grin.

(A while later)

Inside the club room. Issei and Asia were standing by one of the couches, where Koneko sat. Rias was in the opposing couch with Akeno standing next to her. Usually, Kyu would be sitting next to Koneko, but this time, he was training. He still wanted to be apart of the conversation, so he was practising his fighting style, in front of the entrance to the room. He was barefoot so that the tapping of his shoes wouldn't annoy the five other people in the room.

Rias: "Is that so? So then, has Kiba contacted you?" She asked.

Issei: "Not even once." He replied.

Kyu shot his right elbow forward, and a gust of wind was created that shook the curtains that framed a window.

Rias: "Well, the two he's with are pretty skilled, so I thought maybe they could take on a stray priest if the priest is by himself, but..." She said.

Issei: "Did I... make things worse?" He asked.

Kyu took off his uniform shirt and his green hoodie, leaving him in a white t-shirt that showed off part of his surprisingly toned arms. He raised his left leg high into the air before swinging it downwards, this attack was called "Silla" and it was designed to attack the lower body of the opponent.

Kyu stopped for a moment before thinking about the weaknesses of Re-Taekwondo. He held his chin before his eyes widened and begun sparkling like an array of stars. The fighting style had limited attack points, in the comic, Mori Jin made up for these by copying other's ifghting techniques, and Kyu could do the same, but with more anime involved.
