Part #39. The Rating Game. (Part #1.)

When Kyu entered his room, it was around three in the morning. He had an intense smell of blood on him, mainly due to the several open wounds covering his body. He walked into the bathroom that was connected to his room and closed the door behind him. He turned on the shower and after a flash of blue pixels made his clothes disappear, he stepped into the shower and a bright green flame appeared in his left palm. He held the flame over a wound on his chest that went from his left shoulder, to the right side of his waist.

Red water fell off of the boy as he focused on healing himself. Unfortunately, he lost his focus when he coughed into his hand and blood stained the side of his hand.

Kyu: "That's unfortunate." He sighed as he spit a large amount of blood down the drain of the shower.

He moved his hand slightly lower so that his lungs would start healing. They had been punctured by more than a few of his own ribs.

Kyu: "Thank God for soundproofing." He said, there were a lot of loud noises in his lab, he may have occasionally thought of the lab as his own Batcave, but that's besides the point.

Once the largest wound on his chest had been reduced to a large scab, Kyu held his fists at his sides and bend his elbows, he looked like he was charging up his ki if he were a Dragonball character.
A second later, a large green flame encased him briefly before fading. That took care of most of the cuts and burn marks that littered his body.

Kyu: "I feel like one of these days, Wukong-san's scars won't be the only scars I have." He said to himself.

Once the blood had been cleansed by the hot water, Kyu turned off the water and grabbed a towel that was hanging by a hook on the wall outside of the shower. He stepped out of the shower and dried himself off quickly before a burst of normal-colored flames engulfed in for less than a second and the remaining water had turned into steam. A flash of blue pixels covered Kyu's chest and legs before a black tank top had appeared on his torso while a pair of light blue pyjama pants that had several penguins on them appeared on his legs.

Kyu: "Equipping is so handy." He muttered as he quickly made sure that there wasn't any blood in the shower, and since there wasn't he opened the door and walked out of the bathroom.
He stealthily moved under the covers between Koneko and Akeno, as soon as he did this, they seemed to sense him unconsciously and rolled over to immediately use him as a pillow.

Kyu: "Every time..." He mumbled with an amused smile on his face.

He wrapped his arms around both of them and slowly closed his eyes.

(The next day)

The ORC along with Rossweisse was gathered in the club room. All of the devils were gathered in a large circle as they prepared to leave for the Rating Game. Rias was trying to push Kyu out of the circle, but he didn't budge one bit while he grinned.

Kyu: "This is hilarious." He stated as Rias was putting all of her might into pushing Kyu away.

Rias: "You can't go to the Game!" She told him.

Kyu: "Or can I?" He asked.

Rias: "You cannot!" She repeated.

Kyu: "But what if I could?" He asked.

Rias: "You can't!" She said again.

Kyu: "But what if I chose the option that I gave myself that allowed me to go?" He asked.

Rias: "What?" She asked.

Kyu: "You really shouldn't try pushing so hard." He informed her.

Rias: "Why?" She asked.
