Part #26 The Loss of a Friend. (Part #2)

(Third Person POV)

The sky was a void-like blue that was scattered with stars hidden by the clouds. The moon was the only glowing object in the sky, and that was only because there was a large hole in the cloud barrier.

A young teenager of fourteen got to one knee before standing up. He wore dark blue jeans that seemed almost black in the night, a green hoodie that had it's sleeves burned off from the wrists to below the elbows, yellow sneakers with white details, and a black long coat with grey details on the front that rested upon the boy's shoulders.
This boy, was our protagonist, Kyu. He had recently been healed by Akeno, Asia had helped, but once he showed her, his severely burned hands, she fainted.

Kyu began walking away from the group. His messy dark blonde hair moved gently with the breeze. The bottom of the Clerical Coat he was wearing swayed behind him, and his bright emerald eyes shone with determination.
Kyu was walking towards his perverted friend, Issei Hyoudou. Who was currently buried in the ground from his feet to his neck, Kyu had caused this because Issei didn't do the job he was supposed to do, and that could've ended up with them dying.

The boy grabbed his friend by the back of his shirt with his right hand and pulled him out of the ground with ease. Once Issei's feet were above-ground, Kyu let him drop onto his feet.

Kyu: "You've got two more 'boosts' before time is up." He stated.

Issei: "How do you know that?" He asked.

The boy blinked before pointing to the top right corner of Issei's vision. The brunette's eyes followed the boy's finger until Issei had saw a light blue hologram in the in said corner of his vision. When the brunette focused his eyes on the hologram, its size increased and showcased a countdown.

The brunette's stored up power would grow in two more seconds...

Ddraig: "Boost!" The dragon inside of Issei's red gauntlet yelled.

Kyu: "Ten seconds left." He told the brunette, who nodded in response.

Issei: "Hey... Kyu?" He asked.

Kyu: "Yeah?"

Issei: "You've got this." He told the boy.

Kyu: "I sure hope so." He said.

Issei: "...What?" He asked.

Kyu: "I'm joking. I'll take him down one way or another." He said with a grin on his face.

Issei sighed before holding his right fist out.

Kyu smiled and placed fist knuckles against Issei's and a voice rang out.

Ddraig: "Boost!" The Welsh Dragon announced.

Ddraig: "Transfer!"

A dense green aura suddenly formed around Kyu. A large gust of winds picked up around him before he took a deep breath and the immense power calmed down.

Kyu: "Kokabiel-san. I'm ready." He told the fallen angel.

[Due to being enhanced by the Red Dragon Emporer, all stats are multiplied by 3. Level has increased by 15!]
