Part #50. The Visitors.

Kyu was sitting in the lounge near the entrance when the doorbell rang. He was tapping away at his phone before Issei's voice rang down the hall.

Issei: "I'll get it!"

Issei's footsteps echoed through the hall and Kyu heard the door open.

???: "It has been awhile, Ddraig." A monotone high-pitched voice said.

Kyu stood up and walked out of the lounge without looking up from his phone. He walked to the entrance of the house as Issei screeched.

Issei: "O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOphis?!?!?!?" He yelled.

Kyu: "And I thought I had a bad stutter." He commented.

He briefly looked up from his phone to see the small girl wearing the black gothic-lolita outfit.

Kyu: "Sup." He nodded to the dragon.

Ophis: "Sup." They nodded back.

The other members of the ORC ran over to the entrance. All of them were prepared for a fight, even Issei, who just summoned his gauntlet. Meanwhile, Kyu was having a pleasant conversation with the powerful dragon.

Kyu: "So, how you vibin'?" He asked.

The dragon stared blankly at the boy.

Kyu: "Yeah, me too." He said.

Azazel ran towards the rest of the group and sighed.

Azazel: "Hey, hey, hey! I told you yesterday! Not to hold a grudge no matter who comes! So no attacking! She also won't attack you! Even if she did, we can't defeat her even if we all fight together!" He told the group.

Rias obviously wasn't very happy about this.

Rias: "This is absurd Azazel! That Dragon is the boss of the terrorist group that has been attacking each of the factions! She is a bitter enemy who has also caused significant damage to the World of devils! So why did you bring such an enemy to this place?! Into this town, which is an important location for the alliance! And especially this house! Doesn't allowing Ophis into this town mean that you deceived those who secure this town?! So why did you do something like this?!" She demanded to know.

Kyu: "No offence, Rias-senpai. But you sound an awful lot more bitter than Ophis-san." He said.

Rias glared at Kyu before taking a deep breath.

Rias: ".....It is you who has been talking about alliances. So you have determined that this visit from Ophis has that much value, correct?" She asked.

Azazel: "Yeah. I'm sorry Rias. I have deceived and am still deceiving many people in order for her to come and visit here. But maybe her wish would be something that might change the existence of 'Khaos Brigade' itself. I determined that it was necessary to stop unnecessary blood from being shed... I will apologize to you guys again and will ask you guys again. I'm sorry and I ask you. Can you at least listen to her story?" He asked.

Issei sighed and his gauntlet vanished soon after. Xenovia lowered her sword despite having the temptation to attack Ophis.
Meanwhile. Kyu and Ophis were in the lounge chatting.

Kyu: "Okay. So, this piece is the clown, it is the piece I most relate to." He said as he held up a small wooden chess piece.

Ophis looked from the piece to Kyu's face. Due to experience with Koneko's silence, Kyu knew exactly what she was not saying.

Kyu: "I relate to it the most because, I, myself, am a clown." He explained.

Ophis: "Hm?" She hummed.
