Highschool DxD: The Game (Early Work)

Level #4. Encounter with Basil Hawkins.

While Luffy and Zoro began fighting the horde of Kaido minions, Kyu decided to activate Stealth and sneak among the crowd of violent lackeys.

Unfortunately, he was spotted, but before the lackey could do anything, Kyu stepped towards him and slid his foot behind the lackey's heel. He slid his foot back and pushed the lackey down before landing a solid punch in the face. This didn't really do anything, since Kyu had regained his noodle arms, but it did shock the lackey into dropping his weapon.

Kyu picked up the basic katana and pointed the tip at the lackey's neck. Kyu's right hand turned black and the katana turned a shade of purple before gaining an ethereal aura. Kyu swung the blade and a large wound opened up on the lackey's chest.

Kyu grabbed the scabbard off of the defeated lackey and slid it into his obi. Kyu looked at Luffy and Zoro to see how they were faring. Zoro was cutting down enemies left and right, and Luffy was punching people while holding the sword... okay.

Kyu gripped the handle with both hands and swung the blade from left to right. A purple arc flew through the air and wounded four lackeys. Kyu's eyes gained a red trail as he dodged a bullet and a sabre blade.

Kyu spun his katana before sheathing it. He held the scabbard with his left hand and placed his right on the handle.

Kyu couldn't decline that second quest, but he wouldn't any way. He accepted the first quest and swiped away the screens before placing his right hand on the katana's handle again.

Kyu: "Ittoryu Iai: Shishi Sonson." He said before bringing the sheathed katana out of his obi and holding it out in front of him. He unsheathed the blade and ran forwards. He spun twice and nicked the arms of three lackeys. He placed the tip of the sword in the scabbard and sheathed the blade. Once the katana clicked into the scabbard, the nicks on the lackeys' arms burst open and Kyu placed the sheathed sword back in his obi.

Kyu: "I didn't  do that right..." He sighed.

Zoro: "No. You didn't." He stated.

Kyu watched in awe as Zoro stowed away one of his blades and sheathed the other. He suddenly disappeared and reappeared on the other side of the crowd with his blade drawn. He sheathed the blade and about a quarter of the violent mob were blasted away.

Kyu: "Wow. Don't gotta flex." He sighed before drawing his katana.

Kyu's eyes gained a red gleam and he held his katana behind his head and pushed the handle upwards. A blade collided with his and slid off of the blade, generating a large amount of sparks. Kyu spun around and sliced open the side of a lackey.

Kyu clicked his tongue as he tried to look for another katana among the defeated lackeys. Most of them carried cutlasses, or sabres, even a few had European swords. It took a little while, but eventually, he found another katana.
He stowed the sheathed blade next to his empty scabbard and made sure his obi was tight enough to carry both blades.
