Elle
"Good morning, angel," I heard, my eyes still closed.
A small moan escaped my lips as soft kisses began to trail across my collarbone. This dream was too good to end just yet. I didn't want to open my eyes, afraid of leaving the euphoria I was lost in.
"Breakfast is ready, and we have school today," a raspy male voice said. I opened my eyes, nearly choking on my own breath when I saw Carter sitting beside me on my bed. I blushed hard as I realized it hadn't been a dream. The events of the previous night came rushing back, and my cheeks burned with embarrassment.
Carter chuckled before whispering " Don't be embarrassed about last night " I couldn't believe my ears, I was sure Carter the moody asshole would be back by the morning but he kept on surprising me.
He pulled the blanket off and I blinked at him a few times. Carter straddled me to kiss me better but I shook my head before his lips could meet mine. Kissing him before brushing my teeth was the last thing I wanted to do. I looked up at him as he tilted his head to the side like a puppy, probably wondering why I didn't want to kiss him. I looked at him and noticed how beautiful he was, even in the morning, with his plump full lips, still red from all the kissing last night, his perfect straight nose, his flawless skin looked like he just had a facial.
"I haven't brushed my teeth yet and I..." I didn't have the opportunity to finish my sentence because Carter's lips assaulted mine. I wanted to push him away but his lips felt so good on mine.
"Carter."I moaned, his touch making me dizzy.
Suddenly, his warm body rose from the bed, leaving me breathless and disoriented. In that brief moment, I realized he was already fully dressed.
"Get ready. We have to go to school," he said, his voice full of cheer. "I made breakfast..." He grinned, unable to hide his excitement.
I crossed my arms, silently showing my frustration, a cold frown on my face in contrast to his beaming smile.
"My shirt suits you so fucking good...I made breakfast but totally forgot that my real breakfast was waiting for me." His eyes darkened and he licked his lips. I quickly stood up, grateful for long shielding my red cheeks. A laugh escaped his throat as I made my way to the bathroom.

"It's so good!" I exclaimed, my mouth full of pancake as I eagerly dug into my breakfast.
"I'm glad you like them! You need to eat after last night," he said with a playful grin, his eyes twinkling with mischief as he watched me.
I punched his arm lightly, careful not to spill my coffee in the process.
"Morning." A familiar voice came from behind me, and I nearly jumped out of my seat, startled.
"Hi," Carter replied, his tone tinged with a hint of irritation. I turned my head to see Madden standing there, never taking his off me.
"I'll meet you outside, don't be too long," Carter whispered, pressing a quick kiss to my cheek before heading out.
I looked back at Madden, who seemed exhausted and troubled. His fingers nervously toyed with the hem of his shirt as he cleared his throat.
"Elle... can we talk?" he asked softly, his voice full of guilt. I took my last sip of coffee, glancing at him over the rim of the cup.
"I'm sorry. I know I don't deserve your forgiveness, but please, forgive me. You're my best friend... I was just worried. I don't want you getting hurt by Carter. I know how he is... But if you're sure about your decision, then I won't stop you. Our friendship is too important to me," Madden continued, and his words tightened the ache in my chest.
