Welcome to Happy, a work of fiction for the one and only Bucky Barnes.
Thank you so much for reading or re-reading or even re re reading as I have seen so many of you do. It means so so much to me that you all have decided to check out this story.
A few quick things before you read:
This was written before The Falcon and The Winter Soldier premiered, as well as WandaVision. Therefore, the events unfolding in those shows are not canon in this story.
This story will take place after endg*me, being that, unfortunately, it is canon. However, that being said, the plot line itself is entirely my creation, with the exception of the decimation and the blip, as well as any mentions of the past in the MCU. I do not own any characters associated with Marvel Comics, however the original characters are my own.
This story has never been edited, so there are a few spelling mistakes and a few content mistakes that occurred. I try to edit bigger mistakes when I find them but I am sadly not perfect lol
Warnings: death, self hatred/harm, racism, stalking, domestic abuse, physical abuse, light sexual assault, sexual content, and murder.
Death: throughout this book, one of the characters deals with the decimation and then the blip. His outlook on death is altered and he perceives it differently. If there is a point where you might feel uncomfortable or freaked out about the concept, please feel free to message me.
Age Limit: obviously I cannot stop anyone from reading this story. However, there are serious issues that are brought up throughout this story, such as the warnings listed above. I would recommend that anyone under the age of 13 does not read this book, however I know I cannot stop anyone. That being said, for anyone on the younger side that chooses to read, and anyone else for that matter, my messages are always open.
This story has a lot of comments and I absolutely love reading them and hearing what you guys have to say. Please, please, please keep it civil in the comments. As Harry Styles says, TPWK. I know we all love reading fights in the common section and I do believe everyone should be able to share their thoughts and feelings, but please at least keep it civil and respectful.
Also, to my wonderful re readers, please do not comment spoilers in the beginning of the story. While I love seeing you guys pick up on things you might not have noticed beforehand, I would hate to see this story get spoiled for a new reader. I want everyone to have a wonderful time reading this story.

Any point of views, words, thoughts, and feelings throughout this story are not a reflection of my own. I write the characters how they are, not who I am.
Lastly, this story does involve a 9 year old child, Oliver Grant. Please refrain from making inappropriate comments about Oliver. Even though he is a fiction character, it makes me very uncomfortable reading death threats about him. He is a child and this story reflects how a child would act.
