B U C K Y was more than excited for Monday to roll around again. The two days that he didn't go to the coffee shop were longer than ever, and he found it hard to fill the time.

He would spend many hours watching old movies and reading the latest and greatest news. He also worked out a lot and even began to help Peter with his fighting skills - though Peter Parker did not need much help.

Still, the weekend always seemed longer than it needed to be. And with Sam still in D.C., he didn't have much company besides Peter. Though he had disappeared Saturday night to spend time with his girlfriend in Queens.

He even sat at a fancy computer, one he still had trouble navigating, and did research on Charlie's favorite band. He preferred music from his own time and then made a list to give to her; if he had the courage to.

By the time Monday morning rolled around he was excited. The feeling was new to him; he hadn't felt it since he had heard Steve Rogers was coming to Wakanda before the first fight.

But this excitement was different; he knew that nothing bad could come from it. It was hopeful and youthful, and it even reminded him of who he used to be.

It was sunny outside, and not a cloud filled the sky. But the air was cold and the leaves were full of different colors.

He loved walking down the near-empty streets of the small town. With his hands shoved deep in his pockets, the note held tightly in the palm of his hand, a smile spread across his face.

When he finally got to the coffee shop the smile grew though he tried to hide it. The bell above the door signaled his entrance and he immediately heard Addie call for Charlie.

"Charlie, your boyfriend is back! I guess that means it's break time."

Bucky's cheeks reddened, he now understood Addie's words. Though he didn't think of Charlie in anything more than a platonic way, the thought of it did make him blush because it was so unfamiliar.

The door swung open and Charlie walked out, followed by her trainee. A college freshman, with pretty pink hair and snake bites.

"I'll be done in a minute," Charlie told Bucky. Then she turned to Addie. "Stop saying that. I don't say that whenever someone comes by for you."
