Bilbo and I were looking for the Orc pack that had been fallowing us for a few days now. I looked over towards the mountains before my eyes fell on Azog as I gasped ducking down with Bilbo. We glanced back up and they were moving fast, too fast. Something was moving over to the right of us as I turned to see a huge, huge bear looking animal. It was ginormous and unnatural for something to be that big. We slowly stood to our feet backing up before quickly running back to the dwarves before it roared loudly. We reached the dwarves panting, trying to catch our breath. Thorin rushed over to us frantically.

"How close is the pack?" Thorin questioned as some of the dwarves came in close to us, listening closely.

"Too close," I paused catching my breath as my uncle did the same.

"Couple of leagues, no more. But that's not the worst of it," Bilbo paused panting slightly before inhaling deep breaths.

"Have the Orcs picked up our scent?" Dwalin questioned as I shook my head.

"Not yet, but we have another problem," Bilbo tried to explain but Gandalf interrupted.

"Did they see you? They saw you," he immediately assumed frantically.

"No, that's not it," I tried to explain moving hair from my face.

"Good, what did I tell you? Quite as a mouse. Excellent burglar material," Gandalf exclaimed, still cutting us off as I sighed in frustration.

"Will you just listen!" I raised my voice before gesturing my Uncle to go on.

"I'm trying to tell you there is something else out there," Bilbo finished before Gandalf replied quickly whilst the dwarves takes amongst each other.

"What form did it take? Like a bear?" Gandalf questioned, as I felt someone's gaze piercing through me. I slowly glanced over finding Kili staring at me before he quickly turned his attention to Gandalf.

"Ye- Yes, but bigger," Bilbo answered before I added on.

"Much bigger," I stated, wondering why Kili had his eyes on me. I mean, I was explaining what was going on up there, but he looked at me differently. Did that even mean anything? Was I just overthinking or just being a fool-

"You knew about this beast?" Bofur questioned knocking me out of my thoughts as I looked to Gandalf for any response. "I say we double back."

"We'll be run down by a pack of Orcs," Thorin growled as I just got chills thinking of the name Azog.

"I don't think any of us are ready to face those godforsaken creatures," I mumbled as everyone nodded their heads in agreement, mumbling against each other.

"There is a house, it's not far from here, where we might take refuge." Gandalf stated reassuringly as I sighed in satisfaction.

"Whose house?" Thorin questioned a bit disrespectfully. "Are they friend or foe?"

"Neither," Gandalf replied as I looked to him raising an eyebrow in disbelief.

"Well, that's just wonderful," I mumbled getting a few smirks from the dwarves.

"He will help us or," Gandalf paused as I waited for him to continue. "He will kill us." My breath caught as I looked over to Thorin seeing him scoff with an eye roll.
