Jaejoong:

His lips tickled as something touched at them, waking him from his slumber that contained no dream. As he came back to reality, Jaejoong groaned as his wrists and arms were sprouting in pain. He then realized his arms were up in the air as if he was throwing them up in victory. But, his mood was not in triumph; he already knew where he was, and in this place meant he had lost progress.

"Are you thirsty?" a soft voice asked him, making him look up at the familiar figure crouching in front of him. Jaejoong nodded his head and opened his mouth slightly to then start sucking on the straw that allows cold water to quench his dry mouth and throat. Once he has a considerable amount of water, she took the water away and sat it beside her. "You were out for hours. Is your head okay?"

Noeul touched the back of his head, making him wince in pain.

"What happened?" Jaejoong asked, his voice a bit hoarse.

"You attacked your doctor; snapped him in two with your bare hands, Jaejoong. You hurt some nurses and scientists, too, before they tranquilized you with nine shots. You went down after thirty minutes and hit your head on the wall."

"...Release me..."

"You know I can't do that. You don't know what would happen to me if I were to side with a monster," she said.

"I'm not a monster!" Jaejoong growled, his eyes glowing oddly from this spark of emotion. But he quickly calmed down when his strength had left him, making him drop his head in defeat.

"I know you're not a monster, Jaejoong. But, if you're going to use your strength to harm others, everyone else will always see you as a monster." When he didn't reply, she continued. "You know I care for you, right? And that I want to see you out of this lab?"

Jaejoong didn't reply.

"I believe in you, Jaejoong. You will get out of this place honestly. You will be back into society in no time, I just know it."

"Society...Why try to be in a place where no one wants me? All I want is to be where I'm accepted, and that' with you in a log cabin in the middle of nowhere."

Noeul shook her head at his wish and ran her hand in his dark hair. "As long as you have a dream, I know you have some kind of hope." She stood up from the floor and turned to leave him in solitary confinement. She walked to the door where a guard was waiting but looked back at him. "Stay hydrated, okay? It keeps you strong." With that, she left, and the guard closed the door, leaving him in the tiny cell with only a little bit of light coming from the bottom of the door.

Jaejoong let out a sigh and pushed the cup with the very long straw coming out of it. He was about to take more gulps out of the straw, but then he noticed something at the bottom of the cup. It looked like a little bottle. He didn't know what it was and why it was in his water. He thought long and hard about it until he lingered on Noeul's words.

"Stay hydrated..." he said to himself. Was this Noeul's doing?

Jaejoong took the straw in his mouth and began to move the bottle on its side. When he touched it, the stuff inside leaked into his water, making it a dark color. The top wasn't screwed on it tightly, allowing it to spill. Was he supposed to drink it? Is this what Noeul wanted him to do?

Trusting his only friend in this lab facility, he sucked the suspicious liquid up the straw and began gulping it down with his eyes closed. As soon as he ingested the stuff, he felt his energy return to him at a rapid pace, like he had taken an energy pill. What every they laced him that dulled his superhuman strength was gone, and how he felt like his usual self.
