Molly and Negan make up in a passionate affair which leads to a much needed confession, while Lydia acts strangely causing a revelation to unravel about her fellow Alexandrians.
A week later...
I stayed at Hilltop for a little while, making sure that the repairs to our defences were going smoothly.
Luke kept telling me how grateful he was to have me here and a part of me actually missed calling the shots, but it just didn't feel like home anymore.
Of course after it was all over, and the hoard was drawn away with speakers attached to our vehicles, Michonne wanted to give me a stern talking to.
I rolled my eyes as I listened to her ranting until I couldn't stand it anymore.
'Would you just stop?! I broke the rules, I know but I had to Michonne! You can't keep me locked away at Alexandria when this is my fight. I started all this, I brought Lydia back so because she's my responsibility, so are the repurcussions of her mother coming and attacking our communities so because of that, Tara's death is also technically on me' I said as I started to tear up.
Michonne looked at me sadly and tried to interrupt, saying 'Mol, that's not on you, the whisperers did that'.
'I wasn't there for her, I wasn't there to protect her. I couldn't do anything then but I can now, and if you ever try to stop me again I swear I will make you regret it' I said warningly as I stormed to one of the cars, signalled to Lydia to hop in and left immediately.
'That looked tense' Lydia said softly as I drove towards Alexandria.
I nodded, keeping my eyes on the road.
'Yeah, it was. But it's dealt with now, this is my fight and no one will stop me ever again' I said angrily as Lydia sat silently for the rest of the journey.
Once we got back, I wanted to rush to see Negan and apologise for accusing him of sabotaging our relationship.
I guess I was just projecting my own worries and I felt so stupid for having done that.
Lydia said she wanted to go play with Gracie out in the fields, so I told her to stay close and not to leave the compound.
As I walked past Negan's cell, I hesitantly looked towards his window, to see him peering back through it.
He rushed out of his cell as his new guard, Tom followed him.
I could tell he was about to say something to me so I darted in the opposite direction and marched back to my house.
Little did I know that he was following me all the way back to my front door when he said, 'Molly, can we talk?'.
I turned around and looked at him sadly, then at his guard who was listening in on our conversation.
I got frustrated by our lack of privacy so I blurted out 'can you at least turn around Tom?'.
He nodded as he spun around and waited for us to finish our conversation.
'What about?' I asked Negan nonchalantly.
'Oh I don't know, maybe the fact that you went to Hilltop when I asked you to stay here?!' he replied as he frustratingly threw his hands in the air.
I scoffed at his anger at me.
'I don't do what you tell me to do, I'm not Frankie or Tanya' I said cooly as I opened my front door and slammed it in his face.
I clenched my fists, wanting to scream. He was so infuriating, yet I wanted to kiss him right there and then.
He knocked on the door as I opened it and said sarcastically in a sing song voice, 'who is it?'.
