With Ezekiel's fair at the Kingdom on the arrival, Molly makes overwhelming discoveries about her loved ones as Lydia and Henry continue to grow closer.

When I awoke, I walked past Lydia's room to see her door wide open, bed made and curtains open.

I have to admit I did panic slightly.

But, upon bounding down the stairs and peering round into the kitchen, I found her gathering fruit from the pantry and putting them onto plates.

'Morning!' she said smiling.

I watched her in awe and just folded my arms as I lent against the doorframe.

'Wow, Lydia! Thank you' I said as I smiled at her.

'So, I have exciting news...' I said as I munched on an apple.

She looked up immediately with wide eyes as I told her of Ezekiel's plan.

He wanted to put on a fair, to show off our communities and because we hadn't been the same since Rick, we could all use it to come together.

It would be at the Kingdom and all the communities would bring something to show or contribute in some way.

'What's a fair?' Lydia asked in confusion.

'It's all about having fun, there will be games, food and prizes to win' I said happily as I reminisced about my first fair with my sisters.

'That sounds like fun' she said smiling.

I agreed and was about to ask her to come and help me in the fields but Luke came racing in saying 'Michonne is on the line for you Molly!'.

I sighed and nodded.

'I'll be back soon' I told Lydia as I looked back over my shoulder and walked to the office.

'Hey Mich' I spoke through the walkie talkie.

'Alexandria will not provide for the fair' she said cooly.

I paused.

'What d'ya mean Michonne? It would be good for all of us, we haven't all been together for a whi-' I started until she interrupted.

'We don't have enough resources, I'm sorry' she replied nonchalantly.

'Wait Mich, is everything okay?' I asked worriedly.

My mind immediately darting to Negan, though I wouldn't give that away.

'We just can't, I'm sorry' she repeated and then disconnected the line immediately.

What the hell?, I thought to myself as I slowly put down the walkie talkie.

Luke came through and asked, 'everything okay?'.

I was still consumed by my thoughts and zoned out.

'Molly?' he asked again.

'I don't know, something's wrong with Michonne. Alexandria isn't coming to the fair but I think it's more than that' I said as I darted out of my chair and walked outside.

For the entire day, my mind was preoccupied with questions about Michonne.

I hoped she wasn't just saying everything was fine when they were actually dealing with a shit storm and she just didn't want me to get involved because she knew I would come running.

Out of the corner of my eye, just as I was loading boxes of fruit and veggies into the truck for the fair, I saw Daryl walking back into the compound.
