It had been a few days since Katsuki had been kidnapped by the League of Villains. They had just moved into the dorms.

Ejiro was glad to find out that his crush Bakugo was in the room right next to his. Everyone unpacked their stuff, personalizing their rooms as they waited for dinner to be served. They ate dinner, Katsuki sat with the Baku squad. Since Kiri is really the only person he can stand and there are Ejiro's friends so they just tag along when he wants to hang out with Ei.

As everyone knows they all went around and showed everyone else in class their rooms and that Kat skipped out on this social class event. Whenever one was done showing their rooms Ei decided to go to bed and try to get used to his new room. After about half an hour of trying to find a good sleep position, he was as unmoving as a rock in his sleep.

It was about 1 o'clock in the morning when he woke up to hearing explosions and barely hearable crying. That may be because the explosions were making them seem softer than they really are.

Worried about his best friend he got out of bed. Going to the next door over. He knocked on the door. No one answered, so he knocked harder thinking Bakugo couldn't hear him over the explosions.

All of a sudden the explosions stopped. He heard sniffling, then angry footsteps.

"What the hell did you wake me up for?" Katsuki said trying to sound like he wasn't just balling his eyes out.

Kiri hugged him, Katsuki melted into the embrace as Ei slightly picked him up carrying him into his own room. Closing the door behind them, as he slides down it.

"Now are you going to tell me what is wrong? If you don't want to you don't have to. We can just stay like this until you're ready to talk if you feel more comfortable."

"I want to stay like this for a little while longer." He whispered trying not to start crying again. So they sat there for ten more comfortably minutes. Ei had moved them to the bed so when Suki wanted to talk he would be more comfortable doing so.

"It was a dumb nightmare. That the League of dumb ass fucking villains had Toga take my blood and disguise as me. They had me chained up and forced me to watch through two-way glass, as she torched you. You screamed and cried out trying to talk reason into the fake me. You refuse to fight back, you just took each blow like the manly idiot you are, until you were dead." Kat had started crying again. Holding Ei as tight as he could to make sure he wasn't actually hurt.

"Hey it's okay, I'm right here. I'm not hurt. They can't get to you anymore. I won't let them."

"You can't promise that. You also can't promise that you'll never be hurt."

"No, your right neither one of us can promise that we'll never be hurt again. We're training to be heroes. Getting hurt is the job description. But we can promise that when we do get hurt. That we'll be there to patch and cheer each other up. It may not be forever, because in our line of work things happen people die. But everyone dies eventually and no matter if it's the day they're born or when they're 100 years old. Losing that person is going to hurt and it's going to take a lot out of you to keep going, but you do. You keep living your life to the fullest because that person can't. Sometimes if you're lucky you fall in love with someone. But one day you'll lose them too. Great grandparents, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, your spouse. They all have to die eventually it's a part of life. But for now, we have each other and that's enough." He slows down on the last sentence to end his ramble on a sweet note.

"Thanks. I didn't think you viewed life so calmly. Will you stay just for the night?"

"Of course." They feel asleep legs intertwined as they slept.
