Lance's POV
"I need to go to work Lance. Stop trying to cuddle me in to staying home with you."
"But why can't you stay. I'm lonely and I can't go back to work for another week."
"Enjoy the time off, you deserve it. So lay back turn on the T.V. Get some rest or I don't dance around the apartment. Just let me go to work."
"Fine. You know maybe we should get a pet. I want a pet to keep me company while your gone."
"This is not a Conversation we are having while I am leaving for work. We will talk more about this when I get home. Please do not have animals running around my house when I get home. Do you understand me?"
"Fine go I love you."
"I love you too. Bye"
For the next two hours Lance watch T.V., danced around the apartment, and ate a bunch of junk food. Then he called Pidge.
"Hey Lance. What's up?"
"Hi Pidge, I was wondering if you know where I could get a cool pet like ... a space dog or something."
"Um I think I got the perfect pet if you and Keith want to meet me at the castle zoo."
"Keith's not here at that the moment. I want to surprise him. When did we get a castle zoo and how did I not know that we have a castle zoo."
"That doesn't matter. Just meet me at the front of the castle then."
"Okay see you there. Thanks Pidge."
Time skip an hour
"Hey, so where is this pet you want to give us."
"Just in the back. I think Keith will love the surprise."
"It will be a surprise that's for sure."
"Here his Kosmo"
"Is it Cosmo with a C or Kosmo with a K"
"What ever way you want to spell it."
"I'm going to spell it with a K for Keith."
"Your crazy but I guess that's why Keith likes. Kosmo isn't really a dog but a cosmic wolf."
"Why does that sound so much cooler and make me want to take him home even more."
"Go for it."
"Thanks again Pidge for everything."
"Of course." So Lance and Kosmo went to the store to get a dog bed, food, food and water bowls, and chewy toys. Every thing a wolf could need. Then they went home and played and just got Kosmo settled in to his new home. They just had fun as they waited for Keith to get home from work.
"I'm home and who is this big guy."
"His name is Kosmo with a K. He's a cosmic wolf and I know you said we had to talk about, but I wanted to surprise you."
"Your a dork and that's why I love you. Thank you I think he is going to be an important part of our family."
"So your not mad."
"Of course not. Now do you want watch grey's anatomy and cuddle as we all fall asleep."
"Sounds amazing."
