"Please Ino!" Sakura begged. I rolled my eyes.

"Fine, just this once, and only because he's cute," I smiled and she hugged me.

"Thank you!" We both giggled and I removed her arms from around my neck.

"Yeah, what am I doing again?"

"You're going to go teach Sai about emotions."

"And you can't do this because?"

"Tsunade-shishou wants me to go on a mission with her. And I already promised him I would teach him about emotions."

"I thought he was a jerk to you?"

"He is, but he doesn't mean to be. In all honesty he's a good person."

"Yeah, but he looks just like..."

"....I know. But he's not like him."

"Yeah....you should leave now, everything is in good hands. Don't worry forehead!"

"Thanks Pig!! I owe you one!"

"I know you do," we hugged each other and Sakura waved goodbye as she left. I sighed. Sai wasn't exactly popular with us Konoha 12 yet. Everyone referred to him as "Sasuke's replacement" which was a little harsh, considering he didn't want to be like Sasuke at all. I finished up my business at the shop before I went into the forest. Sakura told me a long time ago that Sai usually could be found here drawing. Which he was doing right now. I sat down next to him as I waited for him to be done. He stopped his pencil and looked up at me.

"Can I help you beautiful?"

"Yeah, you could stop lying. I know you just say that so I won't kill you. Geez, you need to lighten up. Just call me Ino."

"I read in a book that friends give each other nicknames."

"Yeah, based off their personalities."

"Then shall I call you Ms.Piggy?"

"No, Sakura calls me pig, think of something else."

"Ugly has a nickname for you?"

"Of course she does. We're best friends."

"Ah....what's it like?"

"To have a best friend?"

"To have someone that likes you back."

"Oh....I like you Sai."

"Hm.....what are you doing here?"

"Sakura wanted me to teach you emotions."

"I thought she was going to teach me."

"She was called on by the hokage at the last minute."

"Ah."

Everything was quiet for literally five minutes. I thought I was going to die from how awkward it was.

"I would like to know about sadness."

"It's when you feel pain over something that your heart wants."

"Is that really it?"

"Give me a sentence."

"I want to know what sadness means."

"I said give me a sentence."

"Wasn't that a sentence?"

"Do you want to know or not?"

"Fair enough. I was just trying something called a joke. It's also another thing that friends do."

"I know. I'm going to personally buy you a joke book Sai."

"That would help beautiful."

"Sai...."

"Er, sorry, um.....flowergirl?"

"We'll work on nicknames later."

"I felt sadness when she left."

"Sorrowful or mournful. When she left your heart felt sad because she wasn't there anymore, causing sorrow."
