"Hey guys! Look what I bought at the space mall!" Lance ran out of his room to the lounge, where his teammates we're hanging out and chatting. And kind of forgot about it too! Lance quietly added under his breath. He took some action figures out of his pocket.

"Why did you get dolls from the space mall? And when did you go? We haven't been there since that one time we needed that skull trite for the teleduv. Keith reminded himself of that awful memory of going into the belly of that giant weblim. Keith shivered at the thought.

"Um , Keith, do not dolls, their action figures." Lance retorted to his rival-crush. "And they have our faces on them."

"Sure." Keith roll his eyes.

Lance glared at Keith and stocked out of the room, but not before he caught Pidge's eye. He was looking at him with a mix of emotions, ranging from excited to protective. According to a special DNA test that was proven to never be wrong, Pidge was Keith's Close cousin, with Keith's uncle being Samuel Holt. And ever since Matt was killed by Emperor Zarkon, Pidge has been an overprotective cousin to Keith. Lance was pretty sure that Pidge knew his true feelings.

You see, Lance had developed a tiny crush on his rival. okay, so maybe-just maybe-it wasn't as small as this young sharpshooter made it seem. Maybe it was a crush that was bigger than the weblum, or even known universe. Maybe Lance wanted to have, hold, comfort, kiss, and have kids with Keith. JUST MAYBE

Lance entered his quarters, still sulking over Keith's simple, plain, and sarcastic response. To keep the action figure of Keith and himself safe, Lance lightly placed both of the action figures onto a little platform Coran had so kindly installed for him.

He turned out the lights and was in golfed in pure darkness, other than in the tiny nightlight in the corner of his bedroom. Lance was deeply hurt by his monotone response; he genuinely wanted Keith to care. Lance picked up a small picture of himself and Keith, smiles on their faces and arms around each other. A tear fell from Lance's eyes and-in a cliché way-splash onto the photo. The door made it a loud, buzzing sound as it opened, allowing the bright light in the hallway to flood inside his room. In the entryway was the short silhouette a Pidge glaring out Lance pity.

"You think that you have everyone fooled, don't you?" Pidge asked, pity dripping from his tone. He let out a cold laugh. "Well, not me honey. I see right through that act of pettiness and rivalry." Pidge walked over to Lance's bed, continuing to stand and looking down at him, as if he were challenging Lance to disagree. Lance said nothing and looked away.

"My older cousin has wormed his way into your heart. Am I right? Pidge questioned, taking a seat next to him and grabbing his hand. "Answer me." Pidge ordered firmly, surprising wins with the odd coldness in his tone. When it's nodded, not even trying to resist.

Pidge huffed, as if he were laughing with knowledge. "My my, only if you knew." Pidge stood up and began to walk towards the door again. "You love him, don't you?" Pidge asked. Without waiting for an answer, he left.

Lance try to brush it off but he couldn't get Pidge's words out of his head. So instead of facing Keith and his true feelings in real life, Lance decided to play with the action figures like they were the actual Keith and himself as if his rival crush loved him back.

Keith wandered around the castle ship, searching for his jacket that he had stupidly left somewhere and forgot where he put it. He heard some weird Kissy noises from Lance's room, so he peaked inside, fueled with jealousy.

There he saw Lance, 'playing' with the action figures of himself and Lance. His 'rival' was making the action figures kiss each other. Keith walked in with Lance not noticing somehow.

Keith kneeled down to Lances level, making the obvious goofball see him, causing him to blush a deep shade of red. As he felt the heat cover his cheeks, Keith leaned in until he was practically sitting on Lance's lap. Keith brushed his fingers against Lance's face and kissed him passionately. When they broke apart, Keith got up and left the room to continue the desperate search for his jacket, leaving Lance completely and entirely flustered.
