KL(126-5)Game of love

Lance's POV
I walk into the camp that we set up in a safe planet with a confident stride. We've been traveling to earth, but without the castle it's taking a while. It seems that their setting something up.

"Hey there gorgeous ~" I say with a confident smile, and my trademark finger guns.

"Hello Lance"

"Hi Coran"

"Hello my boy" Coran said with a soft smile.

"Mullet, gremlin" Both Keith and Pigde grunt in unison.

"Hunk! My platonic soul mate, and absolute ray of sunshine"

"Hey there man!" Hunk said as he went to hug me. I hug back.

"What are you guys doing?"

"We're going to play monsters and mana"

"Cool, I'll join!" We set up the game and the characters. For the first time Keith is playing, I can't wait to smoke him in this game.

"Hey mullet what character did you pick?"

"A rouge " I can hear Allura whisper to Pidge.

"No you're not " Before we can protest the game starts

I notice an unfamiliar set of characters

~out game~
"Did you guys change characters?" I ask

"Yeah"

"Ok"

~in game~
I quietly watch them from up the trees. I spot a sort of mage ,and a type of warrior a dragoon I think it's called. I jump down. Almost immediately a knife is thrown near my face barely grazing my nose. I stare at the source of the weapon, I spot a mysterious figure covered by a cloak covering their face with darkness.

"Who are you?" The figure asks firmly.

"I was supposed to ask the same thing"

"I asked first" they said coldly definitely Keith

"The name's Pike, I am looking for the labyrinth of Corinthia to find its treasures. Now answer my question. ALL OF YOU." I point to the others present.

"I am Desdemona, a humble mage looking for more knowledge to help my village which is suffering from famine. I am looking for the spell of life to bring life to my village, this spell is only know by the wizard Rhesus." The long, copper haired mage spoke.

"I am Strato a dragoon looking for the perfect weapon, and rumor has it that there is one of the best blacksmiths in the multiverse is in Corinthia." The tall armoured brunette said.

"And you are?" The dark figure pulled up their hood to reveal the mysterious figure to be a woman. Wait what!

"I am Haxis a rouge looking to strengthen myself with stronger foes"

" You're a girl!"

~out game~
"Allura why do you have my character?" Keith asks traces of a little annoyance in his voice.

"Uh I may have switched our characters " she shrugs

"WHAT" I speak up

"Get some chill bro" Pidge smirked.

"YOU LITTLE-" I was cut off by Keith. Instead of bursting he sighed.

"Lance don't fight my battles, you two better not be planning something bad" he scolded but didn't explode on them. Huh he matured

~in game~
"Actually I prefer woman" the silver haired rouge said mockingly.

"Ok, so four travelers one destination so ...... join forces?"

"Ok" the copper haired girl and brunette say in unison 

I look at the rouge "fine, but don't think I'll be saving you're butts out there"  

~time skip~
We finally arrive at the entrance of the very tall, very dark tower. The entrance seems to be a puzzle, of which Desdemona (Pidge) solves easily. We enter the first room or the 'First Trial' as travelers say.

"Who goes there" a disembodied voice calls out

"We are travelers looking for certain things only found in Corinthia "

"To pass you need to solve my riddle"

"Bring it on!"

"Take your time do not fear.
Sadly I am never clear.
My answer stares you in the face.
Read me over and over just in case.
My answer will cause you pain.
But a smile you will gain.
Today I am like a July evening dream.
To find my answer you may need a team.
What am I ?"

Desdemona mutters the riddle to herself  "that's it! the answer is a riddle"  

"Correct, you may pass"

I stand there still dumbfounded by the riddle, but soon enough we move to the next trial. Strato is the first to walk into the next room.

"Hello travelers I have been expecting you, especially you young dragoon" a different voice speaks

"Who are you!?"

"Why, I am the reason you are here"

"Ah you must be Izelna the legendary blacksmith "

"Correct young one, for your trial, dragoons must be able to choose the best weapon upon just seeing it. You, must choose the right one" different blades and weapons appear in the room. Strato (Hunk) looks through all the weapons, stopping at what look like a glove. He picks it up and when he clenched his fist and a blade popped out.

"Correct choice young one, you may pass" I walk beside Strato and fanboy about his weapon. When suddenly Haxis stops us.

"Wait " she walks forward and then a glass wall immediately drops and separates us. She smirks back at us her face telling us ' I got this' A dark figure drops

"Hello young rouge "

"Ah Daerron the legendary warrior"

"Correct, ready to fight for your life little bug"

"Bring it on sewer rat!" A heated battle erupted like a volcano. The two were neck to neck but finally Haxis was able to trip Daeron. She pointed her sword at his through

"Giving up yet old man?"

"Fine you shall pass"

I run into the next room. This is my time to shine. I was greeted by golden gates with roses intertwined with them. A sign read ' inside these golden gates, a cold heart can be found, just awake it and you will see, true love that is meant to be' I open the gates and roam the serene looking garden, in the middle of it all a sleeping figure, a princess. I hurry over. "Wait a minute.... I'd recognize that mullet anywhere"
