Cinder had come to earth for the week, but for the past five days it had been nothing but peace treaty work and she was leaving the next day. She and Kai hadn't had any time alone. So she hatched a plan. She got out of bed, got dressed in her tank top, cargo pant, and work boots. She went down the hall to Kai's room. (Yes they had separate rooms because people are way too overprotective of Kai.)
"Hey Kai get up." She whispers
"Cinder, a good morning would be nice." He said very tiredly. Without turning over to see who it was.
"Good morning honey." She said a little sarcasm in her voice.
"Good morning sweetheart. So what are you doing in here anyway?" He asked finally sitting up and looking at her.
"Waking you up so we can go on a peaceful walk together, ALONE."
"I know it has been a long week but did you really have to wake me up a seven o'clock in the morning on a Saturday."
"Yes, yes I did." She said gentle flopping on the bed at the fact he hadn't moved to get dressed.
"You know I cancel all our meetings for the day and was going to surprise you at breakfast." He said in a calm voice, as he looked at her.
"You did?" She said looking a little regretful at the fact that she had woken him up for no reason.
"I did. I'm still tired and since no one is supposed to come into mine or your room. Maybe you can stay and cuddle with me why I try to get some more sleep."
"I think that's a great idea. Maybe I could get some more sleep too." So they cuddle until lunch. When they were forced to get up by hungrier.
