Asahi's POV
"Hey has any one seen Yū today? He hasn't answer any of my text or calls."
"Sorry no ones seen him at all today."
"He wasn't even in class today. If anyone knows where he is it's probably Tanaka." They are best friends.
"Okay thanks." I ran out to catch up with Tanaka. "Tanaka wait."
"O did you need something Azumane."
"Yeah, do you know where Yū is?"
"O did he not tell you what today is?"
"No. What's today?"
"That is not my story to tell. You should ask Yū."
"He hasn't answer any of my text or calls all day. Please I'm worried about him."
"Like I said it's not my truth to tell. But I will tell you he would love to have you there to comfort him. Because if you don't no one will and he'll force it all down again. He will continue pretending like it never happened for another year. He will go back to school, go back to practice, and go back to the smiling Yū you love. So because I'm his best friend that plays around and jokes with him neither one of us feel comfortable with me being the one there for him. So you have to do. He probably will ovoid you but you have to push throw and make him let you in."
"Okay, thank you for telling me what you could."
"Your welcome and good luck." Now I'm more worried for Yū then I've probably ever been. I rush to his apartment and knock on the door.
"Hey Yū. Can you open the door....Please I'm worried about you."
"I don't feel well. I'll be back to school tomorrow. You don't have to worry about me."
"I know I don't have to, but that doesn't change the fact that I am worried about you. You won't answer my calls or texts and now you won't even open the door so I can comfort my boyfriend."
"There the door is open." He is standing there face red like he had been crying.
"What happened and don't lie to me and tell me it's a bug that you'll get over by tomorrow. Cause we both know it's not. Please tell what's going on. Let me be there for you. What every you need I'm there for you. The only thing I won't give you space cause you've had all day by yourself. So I'm going to sit here on your couch till you tell me what is wrong and we work it out."
"Well I'm not ready to till you yet. So I'm going to finish watching Brave while I lay on your chest and probably cry." We stay like that cozy and silent for an hour. Then Yū started to talk. "6 years ago today my mom, dad, and younger sister died in a car crash...but I survived. I always smile almost everyday just not today. I went to therapy about my survivors guilt, I grieved there deaths, and it doesn't hurt anymore except on this day." He cried in my arms as he explains
"Okay then can I just be here for you cuddle, watch movies, you tell me stories, and you cry it out on me as much as you need."
"Thank you, I love you Asahi."
"I love you too Yū."
