Killua's POV
It had been a long day. Me and Gon were on different jobs, so we didn't get to see each other today. At the moment all I want to do is make some pizza and cuddle up with my boyfriend to watch a show. I got home before Gon so I made sure we had all the ingredients for pizza before giving the staff the rest of the night off.
"Hey Killua I'm home. No one answered the door is everything okay?" Gon asks as he walked towards the couch I was sitting on and gave me a kiss.
"Yeah I gave everyone the night off. I thought we could make pizza and maybe watch a show while we eat." I smiled at him.
"I would love to just relax. Is there any certain pizza you want to make or show you want to watch?"
"I thought after we made the dough we could make Mediterranean pizza and you can pick the show."
"I've never made dough from scratch or even tried Mediterranean pizza. But it sounds like fun lets try it."
"Okay first for the dough we need
1 ¾ cup of warm water 110° degrees to 115° degrees
1 tablespoon of yeast
1 tablespoon of sugar
4 ½ cups of flour
¼ cup of olive oil
Pinch of salt
Add all the ingredients to a standing mixer with the hook attachment and mix on low speed just until combined.
Then cover the pizza dough and let rest in the fridge for 1 hour."
"Okay we did all that now what are we supposed to do while we wait."
"How about we watch that show did you decide yet what we're watching."
"How about we watch criminal minds. You can point out what the criminals are doing wrong and I can point out what the police are doing wrong."
"Sounds perfect." We watched criminal minds for the rest of the night stopping to get the crust out of the fridge and preheat the oven,
Preheat the oven to 500° with a pizza stone.
Next, form 2 dough balls, cover them, and let them rest for 15 minutes. We watch some more criminal minds before getting up to making our pizzas.
Form each dough ball into a 12" pizza dough shell.
One at a time place the pie dough shell on a flat cookie sheet tray dusted with cornmeal and add on the toppings in order from top to bottom spreading across the pie dough shell and leaving ½" inches around the outside for the crust.
For the Mediterranean Pizza:
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 cup of shredded mozzarella
4 tomato slices
½ cup of roasted garlic cloves
¼ cup of sliced Kalamata olives
½ cup of sliced cooked chicken
2 quartered arthichokes
¼ cup of sliced pepperoncinis
1 tablespoon of fresh oregano leaves
We also just made a plain cheese pizza with the second dough.
Transfer the pizza to the stone and cook at 500° degrees for 10 minutes or until the crust is browned and the cheese is melted.
Once we got the pizzas out of the oven we turned out all the lights. We ate our pizza and watched criminal minds in the dark. With kisses ever time Morgan and Garcia talked.
