Sitting down, Yuri wondered (for the millionth time) whether he would ever meet his soulmate, if it was possible, if it was a dream he had that would ever be able to be fulfilled. He drew in a long breath and let it out, his mind floating back to that pair of ice skates he so wanted, and the latest up load of his idol, Victor Nikiforov, the beautiful ice skating god. It was then he glanced out at habit at his arm where his watch once was before he carelessly destroyed it in a fall on the ice, what he saw the numbers on his wrist... no not quite numbers, but a timer?
The numbers were moving down in seconds, like a clock... reading 2 hours 40 minutes and 34 seconds.
Jumping up in shock Yuri realized that this must be... A timer? But for what?

-later that day-

Yuri had almost forgotten about the timer on his wrist, on his walk through the local park, when a dog came bounding up to him, almost knocking him over, curly and brown and absolutely adorable... he reminded Yuri immensely a Victor... his old dog... a poodle like this one, except a toy poodle, and named after his idol... Victor...

"Hi, I am Victor, I see you've met Makkachin already"

Yuri jumped about 10 feet into the air and his rest buzzed as a timer reached zero... he looked up at the man standing before him and it was as if a new color was placed into the spectrum, the color of Victor's eyes was one he could never have identified through a screen... he'd read about this before... could this mean Victor was his soulmate? No... But...

"By the way you're staring at me I'm guessing you are also realized? Any timer went off also?..." says Victor, blushing in the most soft and friendly way possible. Yuri stood up, brushing himself off from the leaves he had acquired while on the floor being licked to death by Makkachin, and ran to Victor, throwing himself in a man's warm embrace.

" I've been wait for this.. I can't believe I finally met you." Victor whispers to Yuri as they embraced.
