Oikawa's POV
"It's a beautiful day to swim in the open sea and maybe to the surface? Isn't it Ushiwaka?"
"You know we're not allowed to swim to the surface your highness." He's always such a stick in the sand.
"Well then you can call we a rule breaker. Come on let's have fun." I swam up to the surface, forcing him to follow behind. I was laughing at how stubborn he was being not to come after me, but eventually giving up and coming to the surface anyway. "What took you so long slow poke."
"I still think this is a bad idea sire."
"Well I don't. This is the first time I've ever seen the blinding yet beautiful sun and how it makes the whole surface of the water seem like it's glowing. Do really want to take that experience away from me?" I smiled at him to sell the argument.
"Of course not. But what if we see..?"
"A Human." I saw a black haired, green eyed, gorgeous man. I start to swim over to the rocks he was sitting on while my when on about his warnings
"Where are you going? Come back here." He yelled as a last ditch effort because to scared of the consequences of breaking the law to come after me him self.
"Hello" I said to the handsome stranger as I tucked my tail under a rock.
"O you scared me there for a second. Where are you swimming from I haven't seen anyone around here forever?"
"O um I actually came from the bottom of the sea."
"Are you a diver or something? I don't see any gear."
"Not exactly I'm a merman."
"Mermen and mermaids don't exist."
"How about you come in the water and I'll prove it."
"We don't even know each other's names."
"I'm prince Tōru Oikawa and your name."
"My name is Hajime Iwaizumi. Nice to meet you Prince Tōru." I got closer and surprisingly he didn't back away. He actually lean his head down.
"Nice to meet you too Hajime. Now that we know each other's names can we go for a swim." Our faces were almost touching at this point.
"Sure" with that I wrapped my arms around his back and pulled him in. My tail surrounded both of us with out touching us. He looked amazed so I took this opportunity to kiss him it was short as we resurface so he can breath for real. I set him on the rocks so he didn't have to try to keep swimming.
"Next time a little more warning and is it because you're the prince that your tail is so long and looks like it's glowing or are all mer people this beautiful?"
"Royal status for sure. Cause no one is as beautiful as me."
"Mm okay." He kissed me and I automatically melted in to the kiss.
