"It's starting to rain we should get heading back to the Rampion."
"It's poring. Come on in here." Thorne said pulling Cress towards a small cafe. "We will just stay in here till it clears up a little bit."
"Thanks, Thorne, but what are we going to do for the next hour or so?"
"Hmm were at an adorable cafe, with no one else around, and nowhere else to go. Sounds like a perfect date to me. So co-pilot Cress will you go on this date with me?" He asks as he does a small bow
"It would be my pleasure, Captain Thorne." She replies as she curtsies grabbing a hold of his outstretched hand. They sat down looking at the menu.
"Hi, I'm Roux. What can I get for you love birds?"
"Can I have a maple bear claw and an ice caramel latte. Do you know what you want Cress?"
"Yes, can I have a chocolate crescent roll and a strawberry frappuccino. Thank you."
"I'll be right back with those."
"Do you know that bug in the software of the computer I was telling you about?"
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Well, I think I just figured out the problem."
"Okay and thank you for not explaining in fine detail so I look more like a dummy than I am." They both laughed a little at the small truth.
"Here you go," Roux said as they set down Cress and Thorne's food and drinks
"Thank you," they both said in unison. They talk some more as they ate. Completely forgetting the storm.
