They walk to the restaurant, all the while talking and getting to know each other. About a block from their destination, Bokuto gently takes Akaashi's hand and intertwines his fingers with the shorter boy's. Akaashi looks at the ground and smiles. He is liking Bokuto more and more as the night goes on. He doesn't know why he was so apprehensive earlier. They reach the restaurant and Akaashi lets Bokuto order since he seems to know the place well. They walk out with their food and some complimentary rice pudding that the owners provided.

"So do you go there often? The food looked really good," Akaashi inquires.

"Yeah! It is one of my favorite places. While juggling classes and a job, a place where I can quickly get something is really helpful." Bokuto holds Akaashi's hand and used the other to carry the food.

"That's cool. It may be a place that I now go, if the food is as good as it looks," Akaashi says playfully. Bokuto looks at Akaashi, a soft smile on his lips. Bokuto directs them to the park and Akaashi points at a huge tree that sits at their left."Is that it? That's huge." Akaashi marvels at the tree.

"Yup!" Bokuto says in an oddly proud voice, like he is delighted that he has amazed Akaashi with the size of the tree. They take a place under the tree and see that there isn't anyone else there that they can see."Looks like we have the whole place to ourselves," Bokuto exclaims. He sets out the food and invites Akaashi to have as much as he likes.

"It is as good as it looks!" Akaashi enthuses after taking a few bites. Bokuto beams.

"I'm really glad you like it," Bokuto says happily. After they finish eating, Akaashi rests his head on Bokuto's shoulder. Bokuto smiles to himself knowing that since they were leaning up against the tree, Akaashi could have just as easily laid his head against the trunk, but instead chose Bokuto.Wow, someone chose you over a tree. What a feat, a voice in Bokuto's head says. Bokuto just pushes the thought away and takes Akaashi's hand in his own. He lays his head so it's slightly resting against Akaashi's.

"I really like you, Akaashi."

"I could tell."............."I really like you, too, Bokuto." They sit in silence for a while, just taking in each other's presence. Bokuto moves his thumb up and down against Akaashi's hand. Suddenly they hear a small hoot from above them.

"It's the owls!" Bokuto yelps. They both crane their heads upward as if that will help them hear. A flurry of hoots follows the first and Akaashi laughs silently at how excited Bokuto is getting. They both make sure to stay quiet as to not scare the birds off. Once the noise dies down a little, Akaashi rests his head on his fist.

"You really like those owls, don't you?" Akaashi asks playfully.

"They are majestic beings!" Bokuto expresses. Akaashi laughs."You have a beautiful laugh," Bokuto says, a small smile on his face. "And you have a beautiful name, and a beautiful face, and a beautiful body, and a beautiful personality." Akaashi blushes furiously.

"Thanks," Akaashi says quietly, a smile spreading across his face.

"Your lips are beautiful, your eyes are beautiful, your ears are beautiful, your nose is beautiful, your cheeks are beautiful, even your eyebrows are beautiful. You are so beautiful, Akaashi Keiji." Not knowing what to say, Akaashi pulls Bokuto towards him, resting his forehead against the taller boy's and looking him directly in the eyes. After one second, Bokuto closes the gap between them and kisses Akaashi softly on the lips. Bokuto pulls out of the kiss and looks at Akaashi. No more than three seconds later Akaashi kisses him again, and again, and again.

"You're beautiful, too." Akaashi leans his head into Bokuto's chest. Bokuto lifts Akaashi's head up and shakes his head as he studies the other boy's face.

"But not nearly as beautiful as you."As it gets late into the night, they decide to start heading home. While walking to Akaashi's apartment, Akaashi keeps stopping Bokuto to kiss him. "You are never getting home at this rate!" Bokuto exclaims in between kisses.

"I don't care!" Akaashi kisses him again. This is the happiest Akaashi has been in a long time, and all it took was this loud guy who he ran into on a rainy day. Once they reach the door to the apartment, Bokuto pauses.

"I guess this where I leave you."

"I don't want you to go, though." Akaashi looks at Bokuto pleadingly.

"Come on, I am sure we both have stuff to do in the morning, right?" Akaashi nods hesitantly.

"But I will see you tomorrow, right?"

"Definitely!" Akaashi kisses Bokuto furiously and hugs him tight.
"Have a good night, my love," Bokuto says with a smile.

"Goodnight."
