The concept for this one might be a little weird...but I've had this idea in my head for a while.

"Anywhere in mind for today?", Alain asked the younger boy, admiring how he smiled towards the window displays.

"Hm, no, not really. I'm just in the mood to walk around. Besides, it's almost sunset!", Ash chimed, humming happily to himself.

Of course, Alain thought. Sunset was his favorite time of day. If only it lasted longer than a few minutes, so for a little longer he could get to see Ash's wonderful smile, and how his eyes magically gleamed in the warm amber glow.

"Alright, let's walk around then"

Alain threw his arms around the other, playfully pulling him close and laying his chin on his head. Ash laughed along as Alain's lips were drawn to him. He stopped, thought for a second, then quickly withdrew, shaking it off sadly. Fortunately, Ash didn't notice as he was too busy staring at the sky, awaiting the dashes of pink and orange.

A few feet away stood a man with long, green hair, staring at the pair who appeared to be lovers. It was quite suspicious how Alain backed away just then...

The two boys sat on the stairs outside the lab, watching as the sun descended towards the horizon. Ash's head relaxed against Alain's shoulder, to which the man responded by wrapping his arm around the younger boy, making him comfortable. He eventually drifted off to sleep, giving him an opportunity to plant a soft kiss on his head.

"You're already asleep anyway...", he whispered, hugging him closer.

"Strange...", the green-haired man mumbled from the bush he was hiding in, peering through his goggles.

As Alain carried Ash to their room, the Professor happened to spot them.

"Did he..."

"No. He fell asleep"

"Oh. Just curious"

He gently lay him down onto the bed, shushing his attempts to wake up and pulling the blanket over his still body. There was a chuckle every now and then in response to his murmurings of food or the pleasant dreams he was having. At one point, Ash unconsciously found his way to Alain's shirt, grabbed it and pulled him closer, enveloping as much of his body as he could with his short stature. Giggling, the man made sure his arms and legs surrounded the younger one, making him warm and comfy. They were both under thick covers, lying in each other's embrace.

"You're gonna be asleep for a long time, aren't you?", Alain teased quietly, playing with the other's face and hair.

"Asleep for a long time? That's it. I can't watch this anymore"

A man with long green hair suddenly burst through the window, not only breaking it but causing Alain to flinch out of his position. Even Ash twitched a little.

"Alright, what's going on here?", the man complained, pointing at Alain.

"Who are you?", Alain demanded, sitting protectively in front of his crush.

"I happen to be a friend of Ash, actually. I really care about him, so I'm confused as to why you're saying and doing these strange things"

"What are you talking about? Can you leave, please?"

"First, you leaned in to kiss him, then backed away. But you had no problem doing all that and giving him hugs when he's asleep. And now he's going to be 'asleep for a long time'? What's that supposed to mean?"

"Have you been watching us?!"

A groan from underneath the blanket snapped them out of their quarrel. Alain was the first to tend to the awaken boy, but he kept their bodies a few specific inches away. Ash shot up from the covers, yawning as his vision came into focus.
