"So it happened," Sothis said.

"I couldn't have prevented it."

"I know you couldn't have, but your son did."

"What?"

"You saw only what was half of the vision. The other half didn't come to you."

"Why is that?"

"It was because you were trying to fix that half and didn't allow the vision to continue."

"How did it play out?"

"Take a look yourself."

I closed my eyes and I felt like I was thrown backwards.

"I'll see you soon, my beloved."

I closed my eyes and fell unconscious. I slowly opened my eyes to see myself laying in a hospital bed. My stomach was heavily bandaged in gauze. I tried to sit up, but I was in too much pain to do so. I looked around the room and saw no one was there. The only thing that was there was a monitor. It was showing my blood pressure and heart beat. I looked at the clock that was staring right back at me. I laid back down and soon the door opened up. Byleth and Claude walked through the door. Claude was holding Xander while Byleth had a sad look on his face.

"What happened?" I asked.

"While Dimitri didn't know what was real or what wasn't, he had tried to kill the two of you to end his suffering. Right now, he is being treated with both his physical and mental injuries," Byleth said.

"Mental?"

"The ghosts inside his head. He suffers from PTSD from the war and from his father," Byleth continued. "He will be evaluated and might be put in a mental hospital."

"For how long?"

"About a month. It depends on how well he progresses. The doctors just think he didn't get the right treatment for his PTSD."

"How did I end up here?" I asked.

"I wanted to stop by to talk to you guys again. I walked in and heard this wail. I ran towards it and saw Xander was sitting by you guys. I ran over to see the lance lodged in your stomach and out of Dimitri's back. I was a little disgusted by it, but I knew I needed to do something. I took Xander and got the attention of the nearest guard. He rushed over and called an ambulance. I helped a nurse try to clot the blood while the guard watched over Xander. The ambulance arrived and they took you two to the hospital," Claude said.

"Thank you, Claude. If it wasn't for you, I don't think either of us would be here right now."

"You two are great friends and I don't want to lose you guys."

"You two fought with honor in the war. You're the best soldiers we have seen yet," Byleth said. "It would be a shame to hear of your passing."

"I contacted Byleth as soon as I could and he rushed over here to see how you two are doing."

"You two have suffered the worst, but you've been through hell and back with one another. I know it may not seem like it, but Dimitri loves you."

"I know he does."

"Well?" Sothis asked.

I looked up at her, "That is what's going to happen next?"

"Yes. That was the other half of the vision that you were unable to see. Your son saved the both of you. Along with the help of Claude."

"How do I wake up? Can you get me awake?"

"You're going to have to wake up on your own, Y/N."

My eyes ripped open and I jolted upwards. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach as I sat up. I looked and saw I was in a hospital bed. I pulled the blankets down a bit and moved the gown aside. I looked and saw there was gauze wrapped around my stomach. I fell back down onto the bed due to the overwhelming pain I was currently in. I sighed, thinking back to Sothis and what the other half of the vision showed me.

I looked at the clock that was staring right back at me. Soon the door opened up. Byleth and Claude walked through the door. Claude was holding Xander while Byleth had a sad look on his face.

"You're awake," Byleth said. "I was afraid you wouldn't be awake when I came in from Adrestian."

"What happened?" I asked.

"Dimitri didn't know what was real and what wasn't. He had tried to kill the two of you to end his suffering. Right now, he is being treated with both his physical and mental injuries," Byleth said.
