Astrid POV

We walk through the woods holding hands like little kids. "it's a beautiful day" I say looking around.

"Close your eyes" says Hiccup looking at me, "now what?" I say giggling. he wraps his arms around my waist and guides me along a rocky path.

"Where are you taking me?" I say as we keep walking. "Almost there" he says as we keep walking. he let's go of me.

"Okay open your eyes now" says Hiccup, I open my eyes to find a picnic set up in front of a beautiful lagoon.

"It's beautiful" I say as I rush over to hug him, he hugs back. "When did you set this up?" I ask him as I sit down.

"I woke up early and set it all up" he says as I look at the basket beside me and open it, taking out two sandwiches and a piece of chocolate cake for each of us.

"This is delicious" I say as I take a bite of the sandwich, eating it faster than I thought. I finish the sandwich and eat the chocolate cake.

I get up and walk near the rocks, I step on the stones that create a small path, like a little girl playing hop scotch.

I feel Hiccup's hands touch my waist steadying me. I turn to look at him and smile, he smiles back.

We skip stones like little kids until we reach a big rock and sit on it. "it's amazing" I say as I look at the waterfall.

Hiccup takes off his shoes and steps on the river, he bends down to touch the water and with a flick of his hand splashes water at me.

"Hiccup" I say giggling, he smirks. I take off my shoes and kick water back at him, "how do you like it?" I tease. He smiles and splashes me again.

"Hiccup" I say as I run around with the water splashing beneath me. he chases me around the rock, both of us laughing and falling.

He wraps his arms around me and holds me in his arms, "I got you" he says while I giggle. I turn around to look at him, grab his collar and kiss him.

Wrapping my arms around his neck as he wraps his arms around my waist. Toothless and Stormfly Jump out of the bushes chasing each other and barking happily.

"Tag your it" I say like a little kid and run away from Hiccup. "hey that's not fair" he says chasing after me. "sure it isn't" I say as I climb on top of the big rock. "you can't catch me" I say sticking out my tongue at him, teasing him.

He climbs on top of the rock swinging me over his shoulder. "put me down" I say giggling. he puts me down and splashes me with water once more.

I giggle and splash him with water. we spend the afternoon playing, giggling and being together like I always wanted it to be.

~In Le Afternoon~

Hiccup POV

Astrid and I walk back to the cabin, still barefoot and a little wet. We walk with our hands intertwined and her head laying on my shoulder with mine laying on hers.

"I love you" I say softly looking down at her, "I love you too" I she says smiling. we walk into the cabin both tired and happy at the same time.

I might update tomorrow if I don't have too much homework. hopefully I do, I already know what happens next and how it will end so u guys gotta be prepared to cry your hearts out.
