Epilogue: part 1

~9 months later~

Astrid POV

"Hiccup can you help me?!" I yell from downstairs, I hear foot steps come down stairs, "ya, what do you need?" He asks coming beside me.

"I can't reach the cups" I say pointing to the cupboard, he chuckles and grabs the cup. "here" he says kissing my forehead. "Thank you" I say as he smiles.

"Hi" he says touching my tummy, I giggle. "are you in there?" He says before I feel a small kick, "woah calm down" I say giggling.

"I can't wait till your here, you can give mommy a reason to not hit me" he says chuckling. "Hiccup" I say hitting him playfully. "just kidding" he chuckles.

"Your still short" he says as I cross my arms, "you wanna test this stick?" I ask as he chuckles nervously, "remind me not to get on your bad side" he says as I giggle, "I'm kidding I'd never hurt you" I say as I set the table for dinner.

"And I won't ever stop loving you" he says as I smile, before I feel a another kick. "the baby's jumpy" I say gigling. "did she or he kick again?" He asks rushing over to me. "it's okay I'm fine" I say as he smiles. "you sure?" He asks as I nod.

Hiccup grabs the pasta bowl and sets it at the table, "we forgot the forks, I'll get them" I say getting up before Hiccup stops me. "nope, you are sitting here, and I'll get the forks" he says as I sigh and sit down.

He hands me a fork, "thank you" I say as we eat, "do you miss living in your parent's house?" I ask a I eat, "a little, but I'm happy I love being here with you" he says as I smile.

"How's work?" I ask as I take another bite. "good but my dad's putting a lot of pressure on me" he says as he sighs.

"It'll be okay" I say as he smiles, he stands up and looks at me, "I love you" he says as I smile, "I love you too" I say as he smiles again.

"I'm gonna go take a shower, I'll be back" he says as I nod. "can I have your pasta?!" I yell after him, hearing no response.

"More for me is then right?" I say as I touch my stomach giggling. "I love you" I say as I feel a kick again, "do you love me too?" I say as I feel another kick, I smile.

"Daddy and I want you here a lot" I say as I keep eating. Before I feel wet, is it.....pee?

No it's water, I think before. I feel a big pain in my abdomen. "oh no, you can't come now" I say as I try standing up to only feel pain.

"Okay we can do this we can do this" I say standing up, I walk over to the counter and grab the phone.

I dial Valka's number, "hello?" Sad Valka, "Valka it's me Astrid" I say as I groan, "are you okay?" She asks, "I'm okay, it's just I'm going to have the baby and Hiccup is in the shower and I don't know what to do" I say as I groan again.

"Don't worry I'll be over there as soon as I can" she says as I nod before I get more pain.
