Chapter 41

Astrid POV

We arrive at the Cathedral, Stoick already in the church. Valka shaking but still smiling with happiness.

"Okay you can do it" I say as she smiles. "let's go Hiccup" she says as I watch them go inside, "Didn't expect to see you here" says a voice behind me.

I turn around to find Julianna. "What are you doing here?" I ask, "why wouldn't I come to my future husband's , parents' wedding" she says as I look at my hand to find my ring gine.

"Give it back that's mine" I say as she laughs. "this is mine" she says walking in.

"Idiot" I mitter. I walk in finding Julianna clinging to Hiccup's arm. I roll my eyes and walk in. I sit beside my brother who had made it, Sophia asked him to.

I avert Hiccup's gaze and stare straight ahead.

After the ceremony everyone heads back to Stoick's house for the party. Some boys stare me up and down I ended up smacking them.

Heather walks over to me, "what's up with that girl and Hiccup? She keeps trying to kiss him" she says as I laugh.

"I'm going to get a drink, and Hiccup can do whatever he want" I say crossing my arms.

I pour a glass of punch and drink it down. Someone's arms wrap around my waist and squeeze me.

I turn to find some strange boy trying to hug me. "what are you doing?" I say angrily pulling away from him.

"You know you want me" he says with a devilish grin, I grab the collar of his shirt.

"Would you want a punch in the face because I don't think you would" I say letting him go. he walks away rolling his eyes.

I lean against the table, Eret walks over to me. "I see your not enjoying yourself" he chuckles before I elbow him.

"Your not anymore" I say as he chokes a little. "Astrid" says Hiccup who now stands in front of me.

"Can I talk to you? Now" he says as I nod. he pulls me towards the bushes leading to the garden.

Where no one can hear us, "what do you need?" I say as I sigh. "This" he says before he kisses me, I kiss back.

"I really needed that" he says smiling at me, I bury my face in his chest smiling. "come on" he says pulling me with him.

We go inside his house through the back door, we walk up the stairs into his room. "what are we doing here?" I ask before he kisses me, I kiss back.

We lay on the bed covered by the sheets, my head laying on Hiccup's chest and his arms wrapped around me.

"I love you" he says as I smile, "how much?" I ask, "to infinity and beyond" he says as I smile.

"When were married" he begins, "would you ever wanna have kids?" He asks, "I'd love to" I say as he lays down beside me, my head rests on the pillow.

"How many?" He asks, "I don't know, how many would you want?" I say as he smiles, "6 or 7" he says as I look at him, and giggle.

"If we had a boy what would you name him?" I ask as he trails patterns on my tummy.

"Stoick, because when I was little I remember I used to wanna be named Stoick" he says as I smile.

"That's a beautiful name" I say as he smiles. "if we had a girl what would you name her?" He asks, "Armenia" I say as he looks at me.

"Why?" He asks still tracing patterns on my tummy. "because when I was little I was going to have a little sister, but she died in my mom's stomach" I say as he looks at me.

"I'm sorry" he says as I bury my face in his chest, "it's okay" I say as he holds me in his arms. for one single moment I felt like nothing could hurt me, like nothing and no one was after me.

I pull away and look at him, he smiles and I smile back. "where'd you get this?" I say looking at a tattoo on his shoulder. (A/N it's the night fury symbol)

"Jack made me get it when I was 13" he says chuckling, "I lost a bet and had to get it" he says as he brushes a hand over my cheek, "I wish we could stay here forever, right here in each other's arms" he says as I smile.

"Me too" I say looking at him, my phone rings and I sit up, Hiccup follows.

I pick it up. "hello?" I say as Hiccup lays his head in my lap as he fiddles with the sheets.

"Astrid where are you?" Says Eret. "at the party" I lie, "well get down here now, dad's in trouble" he says as I start to worry, I hold the sheets tighter around me.

"What do you mean?" I ask, my heart races and my mind starts racing with so ideas.

"Dad got shot" he says as I start to cry, "How? where? who?" I ask, "Dagur shot him, Dagur was part of some narcotic thing I don't know and he shot him" he says as I put my face in my hands.

"He's in St. Jude's Hospital, I'll see you soon" he says before he hangs up. "what's wrong?" Asks Hiccup, "he shot my dad, that idiot shot my dad!" I say as I get up still grasping the sheets. Tears already falling.

"Hey I'm coming with you" he says before I stop him. "No your staying here with your parents" I say as I pick up my dress from the floor.

"No I'm going with you" he says looking at me. "no Hiccup, your not. Your place is here with your parents" I say looking at him. "my place is beside you, Astrid" he says as he kisses my forehead.

"Then we have to hurry up"i say hurrying into the bathroom.

I get out of the car as fast as I can, Hiccup running after me. I head inside to find Eret and my mom sitting in chairs waiting.

"Mom" I cry out, she stands up and rushes over to hug me. "is he okay?" I ask, she looks at me and sighs. "your father's not doing so good" she says as Hiccup holds me.

"Arnjborn Hofferson" says a doctor. My mom, Eret and me immediately shoot up at the sound of his name.

I walk over to him, "how is he?" Asks my mother, "I can't lie to you ma'am. he's not doing so good. He needs a kidney transplant, but it's very pricey" he says as my hands shake, Hiccup holds me.

"If he doesn't get that transplant, he could die" he says before I break down crying in Hiccup's arms.

I am so evil I cried writing this, anyway hopefully u liked it and there is only a few more chapters before this ends.
