Epilogue: Part 2

Astrid POV

The contraction stops after ten minutes and I can walk, I walk upstairs slowly and when I reach the top I search through the closet for the maternity bag.

I find it and grab it, as another contraction begins, "oh come on, can you wait a little please" I say touching my tummy.

I groan before I hear a knock at the door, "Come in" I groan, before Valka walks in, "oh dear, where's Hiccup?" She asks looking around. "he's taking a shower" I say as she helps me up.

"Let's take you to the hospital" she says helping me walk.

Hiccup POV

I walk out of the shower, to find my shoes scattered on the floor. "Oh gods Astrid" I say as I run downstairs to find her no where.

My phone rings and I answer it, "hello?" I say as I walk up the stairs grabbing my coat and keys. "Hiccup it's Astrid" she says before I drop the keys.

"Astrid where are you? Are you okay?" I say before I hear her groan, "Hiccup the baby wants out now" she says as I smike, running a hand through my hair. "now? Where are you?" I say picking up my keys. "Were on our way to the hospital" she says as she takes a deep breath.

"Please hurry Hiccup I need you" she says as I get in the car, "I'm on my way, it's okay I'll be there I promise" I say as she breathes. "okay please hurry" she says as I smile, "I love you two" I say as I hear her a giggle alittle. "we love you too" she says as she hangs up.

"Okay let's go Hiccup" I say as I start driving.

I walk into the waiting room, my mm pacing around. "is she okay?" I say rushing over to her, "I don't know, all they told me is they had to wait, they don't know if she's ready for labor" she as I sigh. "can I go in?" I ask her, she smiles.

"Through that door" she says as she smiles. i walk over to the door to find Astrid laying on the bed with a pillow in her hands. "Astrid" I say walking in. "Hiccup" she says as I rush over to her, "are you okay?" I ask holding her hand. "does it look like I'm okay?" She says taking big breaths.

"Just breath" I say as she holds my hand. "I'm scared Hiccup" she confesses holding my hand, "what if I can't do it?" She says breathing.

"I know you can" I say as she gives me a small smile before she groans.

"She's ready for labor" says the doctor as she comes in, "okay Honey, your gonna have to push when I tell you too okay. But try your hardest" she says as Astrid nods.

"Want me to hold your hand?" I ask her, "please" she says as I hold her hand. "everything will be okay I promise" I say kissing her forehead.

"That's because your not the one with the baby" she laughs a little, I chuckle. "okay Astrid when I tell you to push, push" says the doctor as Astrid nods.

"Okay 1.....2......3, push Astrid" says the doctor, Astrid practically breaks my hand squeezing it too hard as she pushes. "okay that was good just keep trying" says the doctor as Astrid closes her eyes and breaths.

"Okay push again" says the doctor as Astrid pushes again.

~2 Hours Later~

2 hours pass by and Astrid is still trying to push the baby out, I start to worry. "Sir we bed you to go outside" says one of the nurses. Astrid looks at me and gives me a reassuring smile.

"Okay" I say as i look at Astrid, she takes a deep breath and waves bye to me.

I sit outside in the waiting room, every passing minute making me nervous before the doctor comes out and walks towards me.

"How is she?" I ask as she laughs "she's fine, wanna se your daughter?" She asks as I smile, I nod. "follow me" she says as I walk inside, Astrid holds a small bundle in her arms, "we'll have to take the baby from you in a couple of minutes, we'll leave you two alone" she says as she leaves.

"Hiccup" says Astrid as I walk over to her, the baby stirs a little in her arms, "she's beautiful" I say as she smiles, "you wanna hold her?" She asks, "what if I break her? Or drop her?" I say worriedly.

She giggles, "she's not gonna break I promise" says Astrid as she hands her over to me, I hold her, her small little blue eyes open up, her small little lips curl into a smile.

She giggles and stirs a little. Astrid sits up carefully. "I told you, you'd make a good dad" she says as I chuckle.

"What are we gonna name her?" I ask, "How about Armenia?" She asks, "perfect" I say as Astrid smiles, "hi Armenia" I say as she curls up and falls asleep.

"This is daddy" I say as Astrid rubs my hand, "He is very very happy" I say as Astrid smiles. Armenia's small fingers wrap around Astrid's finger.

A nurse comes in, "I'm sorry but we have to take the baby in, to make sure everything's okay" she says as Astrid sighs. "okay" I say as I hand her carefully over to the nurse. "thank you" she says as she leaves.

"She's so small" I say as Astrid lays her head on my shoulder, "just like you were" she says as I chuckle, "get some sleep, you must be tired" I say as she sighs. "stay with me" she says as I kis her forehead, "always" I say as I sit next to her, one arm around her shoulder and the other holding her hand.

I think you guys will like it very much, because @Httyd_2slays and I are teaming up. we are writing it together since it was mostly her idea.
